I think one of the most important things in this field is that
people... uhm people develop a real passion
those people for most successful in the field
of deaf-blindness are the people who have a real passion
for the children. The parents, they have that passion
innately because their parents and I think what we,
what I see in intervenors, trained intervenors
because it's a tough job if you don't know what you're doing
if you don't have that training. And so those who do,
become feel very very passionate about what they're doing
and that passion
leads them into all kinds of the areas that are related to the field.
They want to pursue. So that if they do move on to become teachers and
consultants and administrators
they will take with them the passion that they have
not only for the individual who's deaf-blind but for
the, the philosophy of intervention
and the intervener services and the success that's in the rewards for
everyone
that that provides.
