Hey! Today I am going to be teaching you how to do a French braid like this! So keep watching
for the tutorial! Okay so I had my hair in a messy bun all day for school and I noticed
that my roots were a little bit oily, so to get rid of that excess oil I used this dry
shampoo that I have from Urban Outfitters and I absolutely love it. Next, you're going
to want to brush through your hair and make sure it has no tangles. If it has tangles,
the hair will get caught in between your fingers when you're doing the French braid and it
will make everything a lot harder than it needs to be, so make sure you get out all
those knots. Okay, now you want to pull a little bit of your hair up into a sort of
half-ponytail. You can use your fingers if you want a messier look or you can use a brush
like I did for a tighter French braid like I did for a kind of tighter look. Next you're
going to want to divide your hair into three sections. Try to make each section about the
size of the others. If a section is too big, you'll be able to tell in the braid. Now cross
the outside sections over the middle section like you would a regular braid. Then you're
going to want to take a section from one side and add it to one of your existing three strands.
You are going to want to do the same thing on the other side. I like to take the section
right behind my ears and add it to the braid. Continue doing this all the way down. Once
you have taken as many sections as you can and you have no more extra hair left except
your three strands, you want to start a normal braid like this. If you can't quite reach
in the back, after you've gone as far as you can, you can pull your hair to the side of
your head like I did and braid it normally. Now this step is optional, but I Iike to spritz
my hair with just a little bit of hairspray to make sure that my hairstyle stays intact
all day.
