Alright next up here are some tips on organize your closets. Now I know organizing your closets
are a big deal here’s a quick tip that you can do right now, I want you to get up off
your chair and run into your closet, and look at how you've got everything organized. Now
I'm sure you've got the obvious shirts go with shirts, skirts go with skirts and so
on. Well hey you might as well color coordinate them while your here, right? So you’re gonna
start with your darker items, and make your way down to lighter items, it's just a really
great quick way for you to look into your closet and say hey I look hot in black I'm
gonna wear black today, why not, so your get the idea right? Alright here’s one of my
favorite tips. Now look inside your closet and see what items, you know first you’re
gonna start and you’re gonna empty everything out, put it on your bed, put it on your floor,
and you’re only gonna put back the things that you wear, got it? So once you put back
everything that you wear all the time, now they say that you wear 20 percent of your
favorite things 80 percent of the time. So that means that you are only wearing the same
stuff major part of the rotation right? Your favorite shirts, so here's how you’re gonna
determine at the end of the year which things are gonna stay and which ones are gonna go.
You’re gonna start by grabbing all your hangers and you’re gonna put them in the
closet the opposite way, okay? So normally you would hang them up this way, so now you’re
gonna do something a little coo-coo, you’re gonna hang them up backwards. Now when it's
time for you to wear one of your favorite items you know this is a major part of your
rotation if you will, so I'm gonna go ahead and wear this today, when I clean it and but
it back in my closet I’m gonna put it back what the right way. Okay then you'll see at
the end of the season those items facing the wrong way it's probably time to get rid of
them. So again anything facing the wrong way you’re gonna want to donate to charity,
you want to give to your friend some of us in my neighborhood. We have these little parties
that we get together and we all swap clothes, you have a few drinks, you get together it's
a lot of fun, and you can trade out your clothes, so there’s a little hip tip on how to organize
your clothes. Now here's something that drives me nuts, every time I go shopping it's not
right size, it's not the right color, and I need to wait till I get home to try it on
you know you hear me ladies right? So here the deal; you come home with all these receipts
right? I usually put them in a little pouch and put them on my dresser. And then it's
like the endless black hole and you never see them again and when it comes time for
you to return those items you can't find those annoying pieces of paper. So here's what I
do I know it sounds crazy but I really do do this, I keep this in my purse, yes it's
the smallest stapler, how cute is that? I keep this little stapler in my purse and when
I find something that I like, like this little fancy black number I actually attach the receipt
directly to the tag, so if I find that I don't like this or I find you know maybe it's too
small, maybe it's too, hopefully too big, there it is, opps, there it is it's attached
to my tag and I can hang it up in my closet and I don't have to search for those annoying
receipts. And there you have it folks there's your hip closet tips.
