We do everything we can to help our students prepare for the workplace.
We have a very active career development office on the Ashland University campus
and our department works closely with them,
when there's upcoming job fairs, when we're building relationships with companies,
and they'll also help our students look over their resume and help them do mock interviews.
Just in general, if you look at the Information Systems program at Ashland University,
I think we have a program that's very current
with the courses that we teach.
I think we have excellent faculty,
and I really believe that based on the size of our school,
we have a excellent relationship with our students,
so that we could work with them when it comes to things like
internships within corporations or employment, once they graduate from the university,
and I think that's really one of our strengths.
One thing about Ashland,
I think that our students get an opportunity to start right in their major,
right as freshmen.
So, they don't have to wait and be accepted into the program, maybe in their junior year,
they can start first semester here,
find out whether they like it, start, like I said, with their internships,
and really hit the ground running.
Information Systems at Ashland is a great program. We have great facilities,
we have great opportunities for internships,
we have great opportunities for employment after college,
and it's just a great place.
Ashland University really focuses on the student accent on the individual,
and so you find professors here at the university that are interested in the
growth of the development of young adults,
become mature citizens,
and with a strong ethical background, in terms of business.
