OK folks, in this clip, I'm going to teach you how to draw a cartoon moth. We're drawing
him right here, in the middle. And, I'll start by drawing the head. Now the moth, he's sort
of like, in my opinion, sort of the ugly cousin to the, to the, aha, butterfly. And as such,
we'll kind of like, just make this moth look a little bit more on the homely side. And
then we'll come in here and we'll make him look sort of like a tired old, yeah, crusty
old man, make his antennas all droopy. Another funny characteristic of the moth, is they're
kind of more hairy creatures. They're hairier, so we'll give this guy like a full mane, almost.
We draw his little body in here. And then, we'll come down, and we'll draw him kind of
skinny, like he's a wiry old man. It's going to be kind of his character. A skinny, hairy,
wiry, old man. Just like that. And then we'll come in and draw his little moth arms, a little
hair on him, just like that. You draw a couple steps of doing the exact same thing. And then
make his other ones, so there's a little limb hanging off the side, kind of little like
that.
And then, as far as his wings are concerned, I suppose we'd better make them, a little
different too, more round, I suppose. Kind of like that. So, yeah, I'd say his defining
characteristic is the fact that he is sort of a uglier version of his more pretty, beautiful
cousin. And, obviously, you could add some design to the wings as well. But, the thing
that makes this guy stand out, is how wild and hairy he is. So, there you go. Cartoon moth.
