I think feelings of worry
or nervousness or tension within the meditation itself,
there's a couple of ways of looking at this. The first one is
what kinda expectations do you have of the meditation.
So are you sitting there trying to produce a particular result.
Do you have the idea that you have to achieve something from it?
If you do then you're probably going to feel worried or nervous about the meditation itself
- it's only going to add to the sense of nervousness. So the first thing is to
remember that
there is nothing to achieve in meditation.
It's an organic process, just the body and mind unfolding,
and we're watching that happen.
But I guess the other aspect is
if you have a perhaps underlying sense of anxiety on a day-to-day basis
anyway or
you have a bit of anxiety or worry stored up from
a previous time, when you sit and meditate it's like it is coming to the surface
and you are actually letting go of that anxiety.
So I would see it is a as a very positive thing as long as you're being aware
and you're watching it kinda as it unfolds then that's that's
a positive thing.
Letting go of that old stuff.
