((Jesse Martinez)) Hello, Blugolds. I'm Jesse Martinez.
((Ginna Roe)) And i'm Ginna Roe. Your stars this week are coming from the most fitting place; the planetarium
located in Phillips Science Hall.
((Jesse)) That's right, we're going to shine. So here we go. This Tuesday, right here in the planetarium
come learn about the night sky, planets, and constellations. University students will be here at 7:00 to share the
mythology behind the constellations and it's only two dollars.
((Ginna)) Are you a Minnesota Wild fan? If so, it's your lucky day. Monday night, UW-Eau Claire has arranged buses
to take students to watch the Wild take on Calgary. Buses leave for the Excel Center at 4 p.m. and tickets are $45.
((Jesse)) For all you environmentalists out there, the ninth annual Aldo Leopold banquet and mining forum will take place
on Thursday in the Ojibwe Ballroom. The forum begins at 2:00. Following it will be a silent auction at 5:00, and the evening
will conclude with a banquet at 5:30. Anyone can attend the forum part, because it's free.
((Ginna)) The annual Shamrock Shuffle kicks off this Saturday at 10 a.m. at McPhee. If you haven't already pre-registered, it's
not too late, but make sure you show up a little early. It is $15 if you're registered beforehand and $20 the day of the race.
((Jesse)) Friday night at 8:00 head to The Cabin to hear local artist Micah Ryan perform. Ryan is a singer-songwriter
from Eau Claire, and he started playing the piano when he was only four years old. Come see how good he's gotten over the years.
