Hello and Welcome to my first ENB install video
ahhh
this is the Somber ENB LUT Sepia
I hope I've said that right, not exactly sure... Now ahh, this is possibly
the most visually impacting gorgeous ENB
I've found, it's also a difficult one to install so I contacted the mod author
and..
I've got his permission...and...well here I am
So I'm just gonna sit back and let you enjoy this and
we'll get to it in a few minutes.
OK
Lets get started
First , you need to download the ENB file
LUT Sepia mod page on Skyrim nexus
There are two files, one
that uses the enhanced lighting
and effects mod
and the one that uses the basic vanilla
Skyrim lighting.
Now I'm using ELFX, so...
I'm not gonna need this one down here
so I'm gonna go for this one
download this, closest place to me, London... There we go.
Next you're gonna need the ENB Series mod, I think
it's up to version .217 at
the moment for Skyrim
ahh, you can see all the
additions below there
just download that
get that sorted.
There are a few required mods
A simply darker dungeons
an alternate to that
also the revamped fog mod
also if your using the ELFX version
of this mod
you will need to download that also.
These are the changes that need to be made to the
the ini file.
So, find the ini file
which is in your
documents/mygames/skyrim
there they are...Skyrim Prefs
the changes that need to be made right here.
All you gotta do is pretty much
alter these, now
mine are already done, because I've already done this and tested
it out.
All you've got to do is just
look for the right place, right text
I'm just gonna search
there it is.
Where as that would have been 1
or 2 or 3 or whatever
I'm just gonna change that,
then you click file, save and
then you close it. Great.
Right lets unpack these. Now I'm using WinRAR
I recommend you use WinRAR, it's fantastic, so I'm just gonna right click
and then select
the third option down
right, that's that one done. Third option down
just unpack it
nice and easy, send it to my desktop
in a nice, neat file
as you can see in the top corner.
Right, you don't need these so delete these here
I'm just gonna move the down here a little.
Now we're gonna need to open up the Skyrim folder
open up "My Computer"
program files
x86, if your using if your using 64bit
steam, steamapps, common
Skyrim.
There we go, there's my file
Now as I've said I've already installed this
so mine are already there
but I'm still gonna walk you thru it.
Lets open up the ENB file, wrapper version.
There are three files your gonna need, your gonna need the .dll
enbhost and enblocal.
So, copy those and paste
paste them in.
Now mine are already there so I'm not
gonnna bother with that but
you can see what I'm doing.
OK, that's all you need from that file.
The next file
This is the ENB folder, there are three options
I'm using ultra and below there are a few optional
effects, I'm not gonna install those I don't
use them myself but you can.
Its easy to do, just copy and paste exactly same as everything else.
So, lets open this one up
just copy all of those
and paste them straight in.
Nice and easy, again I've already got them so I'm just gonna leave them like that
Also you're gonna need the data file, copy and paste it in
Again I've already got them
so I'm not gonna bother replacing them. Exit that.
That's all that you need to do for modification.
There are a couple of
very serious things that need to be done
that have to be done otherwise you'll get
unresponsiveness on the launcher.
Right click on the T.E.S.V executable
compatibility, thru the properties,
and make sure you have this ticked
run program as
administrator.
Do the same thing for the launcher
and also very, very importantly
do the same thing for the enbhost
which came in the
ENB Series file.
Once you're done there
open up enblocal which is another
kind of .ini file.
Down the list a little you'll see memory,
there is a this text bar here.
Now depending on what memory your GPU has,
your graphics card you'll need to adjust this.
My graphics card has a 2g memory
so, 2048 for me.
Now save that.
That's it, pretty much that's it.
i'm gonna load up my nexus mod manager
I recommend you all use this, as its a
fantastic mod manager.
As you can see I've got a few mods already on there.
The required mods that the mod
the author recommends.
Specifically, the Fog mod and the
ELFX, I didn't use
the darker dungeons mod for the video because
it is quite dark and i wanted
to get the visual appearance
nice and easy for you to see.
Now when you launch the game,
open up the options and make sure
you have the
anti-aliasing
as well anisotropic filtering off.
They will
severely damage
the way the game looks.
And there we have it.
All sorted mod
installed, give yourself a pat on the back.
Thank you for watching.
