According to "The Statesman," SINC Sites are one of the most helpful aspects of Stony Brook
University. But, what are SINC Sites? SINC Sites are public computer labs for students
in need of computers. There are 16 SINC Sites conveniently located all around campus. At
SINC Sites, you can use Macs, PCs, scanners, printers, and so much more. Having trouble
in the SINC Sites? Ask a student consultant. In every SINC Site, you'll find a consultant
who can help you and other users with accounts, programs, and printing. Do you have a group
project to work on? Visit the Collaborative Learning Area (or CoLAs) for maximum productivity.
At the CoLAS, you can find booths, interactive and movable whiteboards, and a copycam. The
SINC Sites offer many services to students such as the Virtual SINC Site, Print From
Anywhere, and public printers located all around campus. Have any more questions? You
can contact our Help Desk by phone, email, or chat. Don't forget to like us on Facebook!
