Hi I'm Hani Mourra from EasyOnlineVideoTips.com. This is part 5 of my 7 part series of the
7 common mistakes people make with online video marketing. The fifth mistake, people
try to perfect their videos. Reality check, there is no such thing as a perfect video,
there's no such thing, no matter how hard you try. My advice is, take one, two, maybe
three tries at the video, pick the best of those three and go with it. If you make a
mistake, keep going it doesn't matter. Making mistakes makes you human, people can related
to that. It is ok to make mistakes on camera. In terms of lighting and audio, honestly you
don't need to invest in a lot of expensive equipment. All you need is a webcam and some
basic lighting. All I have is a lamp on this one side and a lamp on the other side directly
beside me and make sure there is no light source behind you and that should cover the
lighting tips. In terms of audio, speak up, speak nice and loud and clear. Now if you
want to take your audio to the next level, you know after 3, 4, or 5 videos you realize
that maybe I can improve my audio, you can invest in a very inexpensive clip-on microphone,
a lapel microphone they call it. And also my tip is to invest in a very small, usb sound
card. Now that sounds a little complicated, but all it is it allows you to plug in your
microphone to it and it gives you a lot louder and better sound quality. You typical computer
and laptop, they have a microphone input jack on the computer, but it is not usually the
greatest. So that's it. The bottom line is that your message is what is important. What
you're saying is what is important, not how professional or how fancy your video is. As
long as people can see you and hear your message, you video is perfect. So don't spend too much
time perfecting it, get your videos out there, and most importantly have fun with it. To
