The name of our restaurant is Old Beijing
During the time when I came to Hong Kong
there were not many authentic Beijing restaurants in Hong Kong
Many northerners who were living in Hong Kong did not have a place to eat Beijing dish
That's why we opened this restaurant
At the very beginning, majority of our customers are mainland chinese, but there are more and more Hong Kong people now
They like Beijing dish as well
as more and more northerners work and study here
I would recommend Beijing Roast Duck
Because we cook the Beijing roast duck in a very traditional way
Many seasonings are shipped over from Beijing
such as chili, pepper and mustard powder
These must be shipped over from Beijing
Lots of foreigners come here to dine too
like the French and the Americans in particular
Since many Japanese also like Beijing dish
they also come to us
Many of our foreign customers had been to Beijing for work and study before
They can speak good Mandarin
