In this short video I show you EXACTLY what to eat to get six pack abs.
My name is Raza and I have 2 young boys. I work in IT at a major hospital in Chicago.
I wanted to create a quick guide for busy guys like me to get lean and ripped. I wrote
an entire book on the subject and wanted to share some really quick diet advice.
I have a few quick tips though before I get into the actual diet.
Tip #1: Fad diets tell you that carbs are the worst thing to eat if you want to lose
weight and get ripped. The truth is that your body uses carbs to halt muscle loss, provide
glucose to your brain and muscles, and to regulate your fat burning hormones. You just
have to do the right kinds of exercises to build muscle and learn which carbs to eat
and when to eat them.
Tip #2: Eat more fat. Consuming fat doesn't make you fat, that's a scientific fact. For
men, fat and cholesterol are vital for producing testosterone, which helps build muscle. Eating
fat also sends a signal to your brain that you are full. So it helps prevent cravings.
Tip #3: Drink more water. Water is important to getting a six pack. Water suppresses hunger,
helps regenerate skin, and helps cleanse your liver. That's important because your liver
helps metabolize fat. If you're dehydrated and eating junk, your liver is overtaxed,
meaning you won't be burning as much fat as you'd like.
Tip #4: Take advantage of your hunger. The next time you're hungry, fight the urge to
eat a brownie, candy bar, or doughnut. The reason is that hunger causes the body to release
a hormone called ghrelin. MIT researches found that ghrelin controls the secretion of hunan
growth hormone (HGH). HGH causes you body to burn fat and preserve muscle mass. So being
hungry actually can help you burn fat.
Now let's get to the diet. My simple eating pland focuses on cutting out crap and eating
the right kinds of protein, carbs, and fat.
Proteins like steak, chicken breast, fish (salmon or tuna), ground beef, eggs, and Greek
yogurt. Now that you know the best protein sources, let's look at healthy carbohydrates...
Things like rice, sweet potatoes and white potatoes, and sprouted bread. Now let's look
at some of the healthiest fats you can eat. Don't be afraid of fat. It's essential for
proper immune function and to send satiety signals to your brain. Things like nut butters
(almond, peanut, etc.) nuts and seeds (almonds, pecans, walnuts, flax seeds, chia seeds, etc.)
avocado, coconut oil, olive oil, and cheese. Don't forget vegetables like broccoli, kale,
spinach, asparagus, green peppers, green beans, cabbage, and brussels sprouts. And don't forget
fruits. Lastly, you to have to flavor you food to make it taste good. That's why I use
spices like salt, chili lemon pepper, cumin, turmeric, coriander, garlic, and ginger.
Now all you gotta do is whip them up into some simple meals. Things like steak, vegetables, and sweet potato.
Chicken and vegetables over rice. Or salmon and spinach. That's all there is to it. Now
go check out an article I created that shows the exact workout busy guys need to do to
get ripped.
It tells you the exact workout to do and the exact movements you need to incorporate in
