Here we have a "notched collar". Now what a notched collar does is it has notches in
it, hence, it's name. Very, very clever isn't it? Whoever designed all these and named them,
they were on the ball weren't they? What a notch is is it means that, for it to be just
a plain old straight up notched collar, your lapel is going to be one entire piece. There's
not going to be any, any there's not two different pieces with a, the double breasted notched
collar. It means that here we have notch taken out but the whole thing itself is one piece
when you sew it, when you're putting it all together. It doesn't have two pieces sewn
together to equal this. It's one piece and this one, you can't really see the notch very
well sorry. This one is notched and it's one piece. That's where the plain elementary style
"notched collar" is coming from. They'll be other ones that I'll show you that will have
more to their names but this is just a plain old notched collar.
