So a lot of my clients are looking for green homes and currently in New York City, your
only options tend to be in large high-rise buildings and these LEED Platinum buildings.
And it's wonderful that we have that and it's becoming more of a trend. However, a lot of
clients want to do it on more of an intimate level in a townhouse or in an apartment in
a building that only has four or five units. So where a lot of my skill and expertise comes
into is that I'm able to connect my clients to contractors and architects and energy-efficient
builders and providers of smart appliances so that my clients can do green renovations
in their home whether it's in the appliances or in the structural components that are used
in a renovation. But also in furniture and reclaimed wood floors and just really clever
and smart ways of reusing materials that are already in the house, not just throwing away
but perhaps donating as well. There's so many things that you can do in that environment
that are really sort of pretty cool.
