Now, especially for those of you who are new, we welcome you
and we've all been where you are at some time or another.
And so the introduction to open intelligence is a time where
there is a great transition in one's life
because we are trained to focus on the data and its definition
rather than on open intelligence itself.
Open intelligence is the source of all data
and inseparable from all data like the sky and the color blue.
So, simply by this acknowledgement of open intelligence
in stopping thinking and recognizing open intelligence for the first time
and then recognizing that that open intelligence
that is acknowledged is pervasive of all data no matter what they are.
To simplify or reduce our experience
to this utter reducibility or simplicity of open intelligence and data
is so soothing and so potentiating.
So it not only soothes us
and makes us feel restful and complete
but also we feel a great deal more powerful.
And why do we feel more powerful? We feel more powerful because issues, so to speak
that we may have worked on for sometimes decades suddenly disappear
just in the acknowledgement of open intelligence.
And this is something that can really be counted on
-open intelligence- to erase one's learned experience of data
and "issues", as they're called. I never personally use that term
but right now I am because I know issues
is a big word for a lot of people.
And so this erasing of issues is a very
is very, very important in one's own experience
because it shows you in a very direct way
how powerful this training is and that it really works.
So that say, say you may have had an issue about abandonment
or whatever it might be for all of your life
and you've tried everything you can think of.
You've bought a hundred self-help books, gone to fifty trainings
on abandonment issues and joined different self-help groups
but still the fear of abandonment lingers on.
Well with open intelligence it is very easy to find that disappearing completely
like the flight path of a bird in the sky.
And so all the anguish and torment and sorrow
that go along with these learned ways
of conducting oneself just aren't there anymore.
So you know, there's no testimony to that
that is greater than your own decisive experience of it.
So you see, I could sit here and talk for twenty years
unless you all have the direct experience of what I'm talking about
it means nothing. So it is this decisive experience
in which we all are incredibly enriched
and like I said, potentiated and soothed all at once.
So open intelligence blows away all paradoxes
and ideas about things like that
in its great singularity and exaltation.
And so you know, it's just the opposite
of what we were trained in for most of us
most of us have been trained in things like original sin and karma
that we are damaged goods and we need to fix
ourselves in order to be all right.
Then the people around us reinforce that all the time
so that's just the way we see ourselves.
But for some of us in our lifetime
we are lucky enough to stumble upon a training like this
that squares everything away
and we see ourselves as we really are.
So just to reflect on the good fortune
of stumbling upon a training like this
is a very regal moment
a very exalted moment.
Who we are is so greatly simple
and as I said, open intelligence is not a thing.
Opening intelligence is ever-expansive
opening intelligence is ever-expansive.
Throughout all of birth, life and death all of these data streams
we call birth, life and death, waking, dreaming and sleeping
all of these are more and more opening
of our exalted intelligence.
By acknowledging open intelligence
rather than focusing on all the data streams
we find ourselves more and more exalted
and more and more powerful.
And as we do, we demonstrate
the reality of what a human is to all other humans.
So you see by just a few people
really acknowledging open intelligence
in a totally heartfelt, committed way
then that has a great affect on all human beings.
Just the work that we in Balanced View have done worldwide for ten years now
has caused an emergence in all of the human species
where all of the human species
as you could say has been infected by reality.
So we are aligned with reality rather than so far away from reality.
The ideas about original sin, karma those sorts of things
are very far away from reality.
In open intelligence we align ourselves with the reality of this moment.
You know, it's this moment in which we have
decisive experience of open intelligence.
There isn't any room for anything like
original sin or a history like that or karma
all we have is the open intelligence of this moment
and its exaltation and glory.
An so this is really what we want to acknowledge
the zenith of our experience as a human being.
Just sitting here in this room
it's easy to see and to experience
that open intelligence is a reality.
It's just so obviously a reality
yet inexpressible in words.
I can draw on words to seal the fact
that open intelligence is a reality
however, all in all, open intelligence
is inexpressible in words.
You as an individual, myself as an individual
we realize very decisively in our own experience
the reality of open intelligence.
When we do, we realize there's no turning back
there is no turning back, no turning back.
Everything is as it is
and so our old way of dealing with issues
which is to, you know, plunge in there and first of all start thinking about them
and then thinking, "What am I going to do? Am I going to avoid it?"
"Or am I going to replace it with something else like compassion?"
"Or getting somebody a cup of tea?" Or whatever it is.
Instead, we may do all those things, but we let everything be as it is.
The primary acknowledgment is that of open intelligence and short moments.
And with this, open intelligence is self-kept
we don't have to gather a big pile of open intelligence.
Just in our acknowledgement in short moments
we do more in terms of benefit for all of existence
than we could do in one virtuous act of replacing
data with some other kind of good conduct.
Just by the acknowledgement of open intelligence
we reinforce the entire species.
We reinforce our ability to heal all the problems
that we've caused on our planet, in our beautiful habitat.
It gives us the ability to really
find the solution to those problems
rather than to keep bumping
our heads up against a glass ceiling
trying to find solutions but never really finding them
while in the meantime the planet
and entire species hurl towards extinction.
So you see it's up to us who have created
the problem to solve the problem.
And we have the ability to solve the problem in open intelligence.
That gives us access to our most comprehensive intelligence.
Open intelligence alone gives us access to the most comprehensive intelligence
whereby we can solve problems
that have never been solved before.
And this is what the term "open-ended knowledge creation" means.
This is what the term "open-ended benefit creation" means.
It's our very own open intelligence
and the acknowledgement
and decisive experience of that obvious at all times.
Whether or not it is obvious at all times is entirely up to each one of us.
Period.
Exclamation point.
Introduction to open intelligence, which everyone here already has.
A hundred percent commitment.
How many here have a one hundred percent commitment to open intelligence?
Okay, great.
With those two: introduction and one hundred percent commitment,
assurance comes. Assurance of open intelligence.
Assurance of the Four Mainstays lifestyle.
Assurance is like cutting off a finger.
When you cut off a finger, it's gone forever.
That's it, a direct slice.
That's what assurance of open intelligence is too:
a direct slice with reified thinking.
Reification is mentioned in the text today.
Reification simply means giving each datum
or any set of data an independent nature
thinking that they have power, influence, a nature of their own
that is separate or apart from open intelligence.
That is what reification is.
As we absolve ourselves of reification
through our own acknowledgement of what we really are
exalted open intelligence rather than
all these parties of data we've been entertaining
we find ourselves more and more at ease
not only with ourselves, but with everyone around us.
And so you see, open intelligence is where it's at!
Now, the great support for open intelligence where it's at
exists in the algorithm of the Four Mainstays.
Which are: the short moments of open intelligence
the trainer, who is someone in whom
open intelligence is obvious at all times
the training, which is written
from the perspective of open intelligence
in other words the training isn't written from the perspective
of an individual trying to exalt or glorify themselves
make themselves prestigious or better known.
The text is written for the benefit of all
strictly for the benefit of all.
The text comes forward for the benefit of all.
And then the worldwide community.
All the practitioners who live on all continents in almost all countries
who today are practicing the Four Mainstays lifestyle.
So you see, we all support each other in this way.
And often, if you're a newcomer
or sometimes even if you've been around a while, it's wonderful
to know that there are so many other people
who are practitioners of open intelligence.
And as you hang around a little longer
you'll hear the stories of some of the people
or if you listen to the videos and audios on the website.
You hear the actual stories of people.
And then it's a lot easier to relate
to letting everything be as it is
rather than getting into that data
and mixing it up and trying to make a reality out of it
when it's just a total fantasy world.
You can do it if you want to
but if you talk to me about it I'm not going to help you.
And I see there are people here today who are
have many different kinds of lifestyles
from being single to being partnered
with one or more people.
And so what we find in open intelligence and in living a Four Mainstays lifestyle
is that the love and appreciation
for whatever kind of lifestyle we have, it grows
and we see how to be with that lifestyle in new ways
so that we can allow everything to be as it is and to love more
to love more
to love more than we ever thought possible.
And, you know, the topics in particular today
are lack of education in open intelligence.
This is just an atrocity really
that the human species would lack training in open intelligence.
It's a basic birthright, an essential human right
the most essential human right.
And so now everyone here has a basic education in open intelligence
at least a basic education.
And then the next area to really be with
in terms of developing the beneficial potencies
of open intelligence is anger and hatred.
You know, I mentioned a couple examples today.
Anger and hatred - many people might admit they have anger
but most often people say they have no hatred.
But when we, the more we practice open intelligence
the more hatred we realize we have.
And you know, it comes about in covert ways that we don't even recognize
that are totally acceptable in society in general
but we realize in living a Four Mainstays lifestyle
that they really are not the way we want to be.
And so you know, I gave a couple examples, extremes you could say.
One is bigotry, and of course in our world today
we have an immense case of bigotry.
We could just listen to any of the news channels
and get a good dose of that
And you know, even to listen
to the news channels that we most dislike.
Like you know, if we like MSNBC and we watch that
then to go and watch Fox News for about three hours.
And then that's a good way to just see how much bigotry and hatred
there actually is present
in our day-to-day lifestyle and being.
And that's good; it's good to put ourselves to the test.
To say, "Hey what is this task before me?"
and challenge yourself.
You know, challenge yourself to be as you are while you watch all that stuff
that you have so many data streams about.
Like if it's MSNBC versus Fox News, and you're watching Fox News
and they're all these people who are saying all these things
that seem like they are ridiculous to you
or just the opposite- to just be with that as it is.
You know here we have this wonderful trainer television!
Watching these things that we don't want to be watching.
I know a few people here who have had a good dose of that lately, huh?
And so, in the elections I'm speaking of.
But then, the other example I mentioned is sarcasm.
Now sarcasm is a form of anger and hatred
in addition to being the lowest form of wit.
So, just to see.
it's very prevalent in society, sarcasm.
Yet there are so many other ways of speaking
of using this golden speech we have
to communicate with others than through sarcasm.
And so, you know
just to say, the next time sarcasm comes up in a conversation
just to say, "I love you," instead of whatever
it was that was going to pile out.
And in this way too we get to see how much control
how powerful we are in relation to our own speech.
You know, our intelligence feeds our speech
and all of our bodily movements
what we decide to do with our body, our qualities and activities.
So, you know, this is really right on, straight on.
It's the real deal, straight talk.
And once we've realized that
we've been introduced to open intelligence
we realize there's a certain responsibility in that
and we realize that responsibility
first in our thinking, in letting everything be as it is.
And then in our speech, we realize that what we're thinking
and what we're doing with our thinking in terms of data streams
it directly influences our speech and what's going to pop out of our mouth.
And so, once we see that, we really get it
like get it in a heartfelt way
deeply we get it, then just these two
the opening up of our intelligence
in terms of thinking and the speech
they set everything else free
so that our body goes along with
what is real rather than what is not.
Our body goes along with what is of benefit to all
just as our thinking and speech do
and thus our qualities and activities are of benefit to all.
The Four Mainstays, I have called an algorithm today. They are an algorithm.
Another term for an algorithm is a pattern of instruction.
So, it is something that is not abstract, not abstract.
It aligns us fully with reality
this pattern of instruction.
And no piece of it can be left out.
Just like in a mathematical algorithm
it has to be stated in certain terms
for the result to be exact every time.
So it is with the Four Mainstays.
The Four Mainstays is a precise algorithm.
This time, both mathematical and it applies
to social science in this case as well.
And so by living a Four Mainstays lifestyle
open intelligence will flourish, without doing anything
simply the short moments.
And some people, once in a while, there is a rare case
where someone comes and open intelligence is just obvious
from then on there is no practice of short moments needed.
But the open intelligence just continues to flourish, and it's obvious.
And each individual can encourage that in their own way through the other Mainstays.
For anyone who is like this, who has open intelligence at all times
you can check that out with your trainer.
They'll give you a reality check on that
and support you in opening intelligence in more and more exalted ways.
Just living a life where it doesn't matter what is going on
we feel good all the time. We feel good all the time.
And we release ourselves from the whole pattern of instruction of reification as well
that has us running hither and yon every single day
where every single moment of the day is booked in some kind of activity.
And we're able more and more to
in relation to all of our qualities and activities, ask ourselves the question
in relation to all qualities and activities
"What is of most benefit to all?"
"Is this next quality or activity I am demonstrating
or exhibiting of the greatest benefit to all?"
This makes life so easy
and so exact "Is this of benefit to all?"
In the introduction to open intelligence
less and less do we feel like we're compacted inside a skin line
you know, like a trash compactor
takes all that trash and compacts it into a lump.
And, by the power of open intelligence
less and less do we feel like a trash compactor
where we've compacted all these ideas
that have been presented to us about what life is
in that we're these little flesh units
with our own little operating system called a brain.
That is not true!
We are always and forever fueled by open intelligence
by the vast expanse of open intelligence.
So our primary identity is open intelligence
it's not the wiggly-woggly body stuff.
No matter what kind of nonsense has been pounded into us.
So open intelligence is primary.
and by challenging ourselves in that way
to really know open intelligence as primary
we're able to do anything we want to do.
And whatever we do is of benefit to all.
You know, we're not in the trash compactor anymore.
I don't have a trash compactor.
I've seen them in the past
and it seemed like a good metaphor or simile
for the way that we train ourselves.
We are not victims to what we have learned from society.
We are not victims.
So we give up our right to be a victim. We give up our right to be a victim
of this hounding training presented to us.
And if we watch TV or very much media at all, including the Internet
this hounding activity is one of excessive negativity.
Excessive negativity.
When we take responsibility for our own open intelligence
we see that we have complete responsibility.
Nothing can make us feel negative.
We choose whether or not we feel negative. Period.
So for many people coming up against that
excessive negativity that is so obvious in many places
like the cable news channels and sites on the Internet
and, you know, just the very low level of humanness
exhibited on many sites on the Internet
that are joined by hundreds of millions of people
the very low level of humanness compared to what we can actually be.
It's really important to step up, speak out, stand out and say
"Well, you know, you can think you are
whoever you think you are, but that's not who I think I am."
We as human beings hold the knowledge of the entire universe
within our intelligence in a usable way.
That is a very powerful being
who holds the knowledge of the entire universe in a usable way.
There is no other critter like that.
And so, accessing that knowledge is another thing entirely.
If we stay in the trash compactor
then we can't access a lot of that knowledge that's available to us.
But if we challenge ourselves to be as we are
then we access the knowledge that is available to us.
And I've always preferred that.
I've never been afraid of my feelings, for example.
So whatever my emotional states were in the past
they just were as they were, are as they are.
They never are a thing that limits me
to a societal definition of them, whatever they are.
I'm interested in the benefit of all and that is it.
I'm not interested in listening to people's data streams or anything else.
I am interested in the benefit of all
and how each person here is a titan, really, of benefit to all
a titan of benefit to all. That's what is real.
So you see, that is what goes along with holding
the knowledge of the entire universe in a usable way
a titan who is of benefit to all.
Not all these other descriptions that are much more political in origin
even though they have a religious veneer on them.
They're very political. They are ways of keeping people under control
original sin and karma, keeping people under control.
There's no reason to keep people under control in open intelligence
because anyone who is in open intelligence
and identifying as that, is of benefit to all.
There is no, you know like, freak accident
like in The Matrix where some other dude shows up who's a bad guy.
That is all related to reification.
How many people here experience themselves as a vast expanse
of open intelligence rather than as a clotted body mass?
Okay. That's great!
There is so much relief and release in that, that it's just really stunning.
Because then we're open to all kinds of
data and information which become perfect knowledge
perfect knowledge that is of benefit to all.
Data becomes information, and information becomes knowledge.
But when this knowledge is from open intelligence
rather than from all these data sets it's an inexhaustible kind of knowledge.
So perfection of knowledge is the inexhaustibility of knowledge.
Whatever knowledge we might find today is very flexible.
It is only as important as it is
to the time, place, circumstance and result that it's in.
So like right now we're in a specific time, place, circumstance and result
the result is always of benefit to all, so that's an easy one.
The time, place and circumstance is always new and unique
and our response to it through the skillful means of open intelligence is new and unique.
So you know, we can just relax. And with assurance
we gain more and more trust that we can respond accurately
to each time, place and circumstance
rather than rely on some rulebook
about what we're supposed to do in each situation.
Open intelligence changes everyone forever.
The rulebooks are kind of like the flight path of the bird in the sky
a line drawn in water.
They're just not applicable anymore.
We're too smart for rulebooks.
And so each one of us, whatever it is
whatever career we're in or involved in
or whatever it is that happens to interest us.
We can see this very directly
that whatever we know is entirely flexible
and what we know right now is appropriate
to this time, place and circumstance.
However, it may be entirely inappropriate
to the next time, place and circumstance.
And by the power of open intelligence
we grow more and more comfortable with that.
Everything just is as it is.
You know, sometimes we might have nothing to say
in the time, place and circumstance,
whereas we're pretty much trained
to jabber, jabber, jabber.
We may have nothing to say, and that's just fine.
It's just like to say, "No." "No," is a complete sentence.
No, period. Nothing else needs to be said. No.
And...
I feel very fortunate because I see
the effect of the teachings on people all over the world.
I see people's lives change forever.
I see couples or threesomes or whatever who hated each other
and now they totally love each other and respect each other.
They might even split up, but they still love each other
and there's no exit to that love.
Then I see in my own family, my children and grandchildren
I see how my sons are
how, you know, they just walk into a room
and they are so filled with love and potency
that they don't even have to say anything.
And they're able to lead and give and contribute without any effort at all
able to have four children and a wife and to fulfill all requirements needed.
Both sons have a wife and four children.
My sons are professionals and their wives are professionals too
and they have four children. And they are all just
their whole focus is being of benefit to all, that's it.
And so I see these babies I had, you know
when I held them in my arms for the first time and I looked at them
and just the incredible love that is felt
and the connection that is like no other.
Then knowing in that moment that that was all I would ever want for them
that complete and total love and connection.
And that I would go to any lengths whatsoever to make sure
that not only they felt that love and connection
but that everyone on earth did.
So you see, society teaches us to couple up
and then to hone in on our own little family unit,
and then everybody else is just out there.
We might be friends with them sometimes, but
mostly it's our family unit that is important.
But when my sons were born I saw something entirely different.
I saw, "Wow," you know "This love and connection that I am feeling
with these beautiful creatures who have just been born
is the love and connection
every human being on earth is looking for all of their life."
"That is exactly what they want to feel, this connection that I am feeling right now."
And, so to see them grow up with that connection maintained and alive
and growing, always growing inexhaustibly.
Some of you here have met my sons and their children
and you can see how it works in a family over time.
There's no greater blessing to give one's own children.
Or, well, I have about, I don't know, seven billion children
and that's with population control.
With open intelligence we're able to see that we do have many choices
that we never realized we had before.
And one of the things that I've noticed particularly
in many of the people coming to Balanced View from all over the world
Is that their, the young people, like between aged fifteen and thirty
their desire, their greatest desire is to be of benefit to all.
Their greatest desire isn't to find the right person and couple up
their greatest desire is to be of benefit to all.
And to me that is....
And they want to run more in packs of people
packs of people who want to be of benefit to all
like the Four Mainstays lifestyle, packs of people who want to be of benefit to all.
And the desire to couple up, all the urges and surges that go along with coupling up
and forming these units that were really designed
from a political basis of capitalism
the drive to do that is not present in open intelligence.
And so people are much more conservative about coupling up
or if they are coupled up, they become much more conservative about what that means.
And the focus of the whole couple relationship becomes the benefit of all.
And that is very, very powerful. That is very tremendously powerful.
To be in a couple that is of benefit to all.
Or we have people who are threesomes, where there are threesomes
who are together and of benefit to all.
You know, people can go all kinds of ways these days
so whatever it is, the benefit of all is the focus.
I was just thinking about two of my granddaughters
who came and did the Empowerments for Young People in Sweden last summer.
And they had never been to a worldwide Balanced View event before
and they were just completely awed by the entire event.
There were about two hundred people there maybe. They just said to me
"Grammy," they said. I loved getting value letters that said, "Dear Grammy."
They said it was so wonderful to meet so many people who they felt were like themselves
because that is all they want, to be of benefit to all.
They both want to be physicians. Their mother is a cardiologist.
And they want to be physicians. They know that that's what they want to do.
The older one who was doing the Empowerments is twenty
and she has just received her first acceptance to medical school.
She is already finishing college she is finishing college early.
Cause she knew she wanted to be a geneticist from the time was about fourteen.
And my son said that whenever they come home from school
because both of these girls who did the Inquiries, the Empowerments, are now in college.
Whenever they're home from school they sing all the songs from last summer
at the Empowerment Rally in Sweden.
They sing not only the songs that they composed, but the songs of all the other people too.
So, you know, it's really wonderful to see how the community shapes itself
as it grows and spreads all over the world.
And you know, I didn't want to make it entirely abstract
so I thought I'd share some of my own experience
of my own family and how that's been for me.
And just, it's a very positive example to me of what works
and I see in my own experience the flexibility that was required.
You know, it wasn't a matter of saying
you know, "These are the rules and everybody has got to follow them."
It's, to me, it seemed to be a commitment to
recognizing the strengths, gifts and talents of my children and nurturing them.
And I feel the same way about the Balanced View community.
That's my responsibility.
To recognize the strengths, gifts and talents of all the people who come
and to support them in whatever way I can
to recognize those strengths, gifts and talents
themselves and to have them flourish optimally.
Yea, I'd say that's what we're all about.
So it is definitely a new lifestyle choice
and it's a very clear and precise lifestyle choice.
It's not a vague lifestyle choice.
Where you just vaguely go do something
because that is what everyone else is doing.
It is a very precise and specific lifestyle choice.
And it's a lifestyle choice that involves worldwide community
and all the support that is necessary
to live an exalted lifestyle
from open intelligence and as open intelligence.
In, of, as and through open intelligence.
Open intelligence is our primary identity.
And the more comfortable we become with that
the more we realize that this idea called "death" is just another data set.
Death is a data set, but open intelligence lives on.
And so you know, that is something very powerful to know about ourselves.
We hold the intelligence of the universe in a usable way forever.
