Fly, fly, Fly!
What's up my people?
In case you don't know me, my name is Moncada.
And I am an specialist in the special arts,
an expert in the expert arts,
a black belt in Karate, Jiu jitsu and Kung Fu,
a pilot of plastic toy planes,
a fixer of train tires, and an Olympic swimmer.
Or like Cubans would say:
I am a barbarian with an ax.
And today I have finally decided to start doing videos in Spanish
or Cuban to be more specific.
Today I wanna talk to you about what I would of become if I would of stayed in Cuba.
I always think: "What would had happened with me if I would of stayed on the island?"
And well, after many seconds of thinking, I think I've got an idea.
I am not 100% sure what would of happened to me
because we all know that in Cuba there's nothing sure.
Well, except blackouts, of course.
But we have to think about my family.
My great great grandfather was a cane cutter,
my great grandfather was a cane cutter,
my grandfather was a cane cutter,
my dad was a cane cutter,
So it's obvious that I was going to be...
a baseball player.
It's just I'm scared of sugar canes.
They remind me of scarecrows.
But I think I would of had more luck than my family.
When I was little, I wanted to be a baseball player.
But they never picked me for my town's baseball team
because I couldn't pick up the bat.
When I was finally able to pick up the bat, I was already out.
But my dad had other ideas with me.
He wanted me to be an astronaut. He would always tell me:
Son, you're gonna be an astronaut.
And I was happy and I was gonna study Astronomy.
Of course, until they canceled the astronomy classes in Cuba,
after in 1998 they sent 7 Cubans to the moon and only 2 came back.
But anyways, let's talk about how jobs work in Cuba.
Here if you work at McDonald's, when your shift is over
you can take forty hamburgers home.
But not in Cuba.
My dad was a sugar cane cutter and I never saw a sugar cane at home.
He couldn't even take the sugar canes.
He couldn't eat them in the job either.
He once told me a story of one time when he ate one on the job
and they took the cane from him and hit him in the head with it.
And they told him:
If we ever see you eating a sugar cane again, you're fired!
Well at first I thought it was cruel and I said: How can they do this to him?
But then I started thinking, and I saw why they did it and they were right.
If they let the cane cutters eat the sugar canes,
in a couple of days they'll eat the entire field!
What are they going to export later?
If in Cuba, sugar cane is the second most important thing for the country's economy.
The first being prostitutes of course, there's no competition with those.

My question for you today is:
What did you wanted be when you were little?
And if you're little, then tell me: What do you wanna be when you grow up?
Leave me a comment on the section down there.
But thank you for tuning in,
until next time, my name is Moncada,
and I'll see you next time man!
