Is the love bug getting bumped out of the headlines on Valentine's Day?
It seems there may be a flying menace
heading our way with a bite, that is anything but romantic.
Scientists at a Florida Research Institute outside the Everglades
issued a special alert for what they are only calling
the Mystery Bug. Our Sandy Isles has more on this story.
Thank you, Rita. Now they say the Mystery Bug
is nothing for us to worry about. TODAY.
But once things warm up a bit the story might be
a little different. Their
big as far as flying insects go.
Not SUV big but
some people have compared them
too maybe the size of a loaf of
wheat bread. Thats Doug Fleece
Entomologists from the Institute. Now, are there any distinguishing characteristics
Dr. Doug?
Well I've been using Sophisticated Sonar Spectrographic Analysis and
it indicates that there are two large
protrusions from the bugs head.
This sounds silly but,
they kinda look like bunny ears. Well
it just keeps getting stranger
and stranger but stay tuned! We'll keep you up to the minute
on The Pest out the Century. Yikes!
Thanks for the early morning Sandy.
This is Rita Flamingo for the National Bug Report.
