To sew the bear in place, I've opened the tent up and pinned the flaps aside. Now you
can either hand sew the bear, or you could put in onto the machine, and top stitch around
it. So you want to just roll up anything extra that's going to get in the way, and just start,
and just top stitch all the way around, moving slowly, and stopping and putting the needle
in to make turns. Whenever you come to a turning point, you just stop; you put the needle in,
and rotate the machine. I'm going to put this on later, and just follow around the edge
of the bear. To make the eyes and the nose, I use a little zigzag stitch. First mark where
you want to put the eye, and then put your stitch length all the way to "0" and your
stitch width to the widest section, and then just go back and forth a little and pull the
fabric just slightly to get it just a small eye. You could do that for the two eyes and
the nose.
