jbjb Hi, this is Don Crowther from doncrowther.com. Let s talk about QR Codes and how you can use them to build your business. If you don t know what a QR Code is, go to doncrowther.com/marketing/QRcodes and there s a video that I created there that explains what they are as well as 21 great ways you can use them to build your business. But that s not what I particularly want to talk about at this point. What I want to do is to caution you on something and teach you something about QR Codes. QR Codes can be used for lots of different things. They can send a tweet. They can add you to someone s address book. They can send someone to a webpage. They can even dial a phone. Here s the problem. Because QR Codes can be used in so many different ways, if you actually have a QR Code that goes off and does something that people aren t expecting, they then lose their trust in you. And so, here s the solution to that. Every time you create a QR Code, make sure you put in clear language above that, Here s what s going to happen if you scan this QR Code. That way, people know in advance what s going to happen and they expect it and they can trust everything that you re going to do in the future with QR Codes. That will significantly increase the number of scans and the success that you will have using QR Codes to build your business. This is a really powerful technology. I strongly recommend that you consider using it and that you actively go out and figure out ways to push your business another level further using QR Codes.
