Hello, it's Binky from Made In Chelsea, and welcome back to Binky's Boutique. I'm really
into my plaits at the moment, so I thought this week I'm going to show you how to do
a really quick plaited up-do. This look is perfect for school, or when your hair is just
a little bit dirty.
[Music]
Taking a tail comb, I'm just going to part my hair down the middle, all the way down
to the back so you've got equal amounts of hair on either side.
I'm going to take one of these little pigtails and just do a normal standard plait. Make
sure you've got equal amounts of hair in each bit. You don't have to be too precise for
this look. It's quick and easy, you don't want to be messing around before school. Get
a band the same color as your hair, just a quick little tie there. Do the same with the
other side.
With the end of your tail comb, or you can use your fingers, you're just going to break
up the plait a little bit. Add a little texture to it. I'm just going to use my fingers.
If you've got long hair like me, just roll your hair up like this, into, like, a little
bun and turn the hair back to the side like that. Take your kirby grip and fasten it into
place, making sure all the bits are tucked in at the end. Always use kirby grips the
same color as your hair, just so it doesn't show. And then, do the other side again, dragging
it around, kirby gripping it.
So as it's all firmly in place, and secured, keep some front bits at the front. With a
curling wand or a tong like I have here, I'm just going to wrap it around the wand. Be
careful of your fingers and your face, obviously. Hold that for a few seconds, and then release.
I have a cute little curl.
By curling the front section, it will, oh my god [laugh] it will frame the face and
not make it look so harsh. It's a really nice and soft finish. Then obviously just break
up with your fingers. Get it to how you like it, pull the curls out if it's a bit too much.
By taking this TIGI session series hairspray, I'm going to spray the front bits. Close your
eyes. Then just give it all a big spray just to tame any fly aways, because you're going
to keep this style in all day. Done.
So there you have it, you have a really easy plaited up-do. You can even do it the night
before and leave it in so you don't have to do it in the morning.
A hip plaited look. For more Binky's boutique, subscribe to the channel. The hairspray used
you can get at essential.com. Stay tuned because I'll be back next Friday to show you how to
get the tressed out look. Bye!
