Hola You Tube! I'm doing a Rhassoul clay treatment today. mmm... It smells really good.
I just came from vacation. I wore like a twist n go for the whole week. So my hair has been
loose, its been exposed to the elements and you know, sleeping on the plane, with no satin
pillow case or no satin cover on my hair. So I figured that it needed a little extra
TLC today. I've heard that it makes your hair extremely
soft and it has a lot of mineral and vitamin benefits for your hair. So I wanted to give
it a try and see how my hair likes it. I got this from Camden Grey.com, it's very reasonably
priced. I put some... ( Music)

That made this luscious goodness of clay. Before I applied the clay I deep conditioned
my hair. I just rinsed that out. My hair is still damp, I let it air dry a little bit
so that it wouldn't be soaking wet when I put the clay on. Let's start with this experiment
and see how it goes.

That one cup of Rhassoul clay and the 3/4 cups of water was just enough for my hair
at its present thickness and length. Because, I'm on my last section and I'm scraping the
bowl. So, if your hair is longer than mine, thicker than mine, you might want to use a
cup and a half of clay and a little bit more water. Just to make sure that you have enough.
Of course though, I have a lot on my shirt. It's been dripping as I have been applying
it on my hair. It goes on very smooth, its easy to apply. Its not gritty at all. And
it would be really nice if it doesn't stain. That would make it an extra plus. Unlike henna,
you cant apply henna with your bare hands. Nope, its doesn't stain. I'm going to put
two plastic caps on my head, for extra protection. I'm just gonna let it sit and do what it does
for a couple hours. After I rinse it out and shampoo, I will come back and let you know
what I thought. Toodles.
I figured since I'm gonna have my hair in a clay mask for a couple hours, I might as
well make today, a spa day..aww.
I always had problems with acne. You know, you can see the spots from where I've abused
my skin, over the years. And my continuous breakouts. But within the last couple of years
my skin has cleared up tremendously. Alot of it has to do with my diet. I no longer
drink many sodas, I drink a lot of water and a lot of tea. My skin is very sensitive, even
to a lot of the acne treatments that have been out on the market over the years. Even
Proactive, I've tried all those things and they all seemed to make my skin worse because
I'm allergic to- I think it's called Benzyl Peroxide. I cant use that, it basically gives
me roseacea. My current skin care regimen includes Aveeno Positively Radiant cleanser.
That stuff has worked wonders for my skin. It has Salicylic Acid in it, that works great
for me. But something else that I've discovered, that works great, while we ae on the subject
of clay today. Is this Multani Natural cleanser for your skin. All it is , is a clay. I think
the name of it is Fullers Earth. If you Google- Fullers Earth or search here on You Tube you'll
see many Indian women demonstrating how they use this clay. This clay works wonders for
your skin. The last few months that I've been using this people have been asking me " What
Kind of Makeup do You wear?" I dont wear make up. I'm a minimalist when it comes to wearing
make up. I have not worn foundation and powder since my best friends wedding 5 years ago.
I was really shocked. So, that made me think that my skin must look pretty good. and when
I use this stuff, it does, it has a healthy glow, it shrinks my pores, I dont get break
outs as often and it just makes my skin look good and feel healthy. I've got clay on my
hair, so I'm gonna put some clay on my face. I dont measure it or anything. I'm just going
to put a small amount in this bowl. I just put that amount, that's probably too much.
I'm just going to add a little water and make a paste. Its a little thin, but it should
look a little like that. It doesnt have to be all super smooth. Put a little on your
finger, then put it on your skin. It smells like...Cement. If you've ever mixed cement,
or mixed the stuff that people put down for tile. Thats what it smells like. Dont worry
about it taking off your eyebrows, it wont. If you get a little on your eye brows it's
not gonna hurt nothing. We have experience to beneficial clay treatments today. Multani/
Fullers Earth powder for the face and Rhassoul clay treatment for the hair. See you guys
when I wash everything off. Okay so, I'm out of the shower, I've let the Rhassoul stay
on for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. And my hair was very soft and easy to detangle in the
shower. I havent fully detangled yet, but, any little knots that I felt, they came out
really easily with the rhassoul clay. So I rinsed it out very good and then shampooed
it. Over all I think I like this treatment, its easy to rinse out and my hair just feels
pretty good. I dont have anything in my hair currently. Just fresh out of the shower from
my rinse and I'm going to style. Hope you enjoyed this tutorial and I will see you next
time, Bye!
