Hi! I'm executive chef Asa Schoy of Gigi's Folderol. I'm here on behalf of Expert Village,
and today we're going to be talking about spare ribs. Now I have all the meat sliced
on the salad, a little more of my glaze. Now what I want to do is garnish my plate. Garnishing
means just make it more pleasing for the guests when it comes out to them to see something
pretty on the plate. You can use anything from chopped fresh parsley. You can use a
twig of rosemary. You can use many different things, whatever you feel like using. What
I'm going to use is a purple edible orchid. These are grown hydroponically. No additives,
no pesticides, no nothing. It's completely edible, free to eat. You can't necessarily
any flower. Some flowers are not good for you to eat. If you do want to use a flower,
make sure you find edible orchids. Now what I'll do with this is I'm just going to place
this right on the salad. Gives a little more eye appeal to the guests.
