Rovio can really give themselves a pat on the back for
making "Angry Birds" into what they did.
I mean, these games are really nothing special
and I grew bored of them after an hour or so
because they involve mostly luck and little skill.
And all in all, they are all the same anyway.
Yes, they are kinda cute but they are way too casual for me.
But fortunately, there's more:
Clothing, toys ... like this one for example:
"Angry Birds Splat Flyer - point and shoot"
By the looks of it, it's like a water bomb
but in reality, there's no water involved here,
since the very tiny small print on the back mentions
one should prevent the kids playing with this toy
from getting the goo inside into their eyes, and if they do,
you better call a doctor. Sounds perfectly
reasonable for a toy, doesn't it?
But some parents only learn the hard way.
Looks like you are supposed to stretch it and shoot it at a wall,
because "Angry Birds" really enjoy getting tossed against a wall
or against pigs or wood or glass or ice or whatever the ***.
But I only have a wall here and no pigs, sorry.
Let's try this ...
Looks like I'll have to readjust the camera a bit so you can see that wall.
Oh, so much packaging.
Ugh. Oh my ...
(laughs) This thing is really very slimey.
(trumpeting sound)
Very nice! Yeah, this is ...
really very slimey. I'll quickly adjust
the camera so you can see the wall.
Adjusting sling shot, please wait ...
So, what did it say? "Point and shoot"?
Wow.
Yeah, that happens all the time playing "Angry Birds".
The bird simply hits the floor.
No, this can't be right. Hmm.
I don't know ... I'm doing something wrong.
Hm. Not that great.
I wonder what happens when I toss it at the wall?
Well, look, it actually sticks, but only
when throwing it at the wall instead of shooting it.
Can't really make out what's going on here, the
packaging tells me I can shoot it, but it doesn't work.
Word of advice, Rovio: stick to your video games.
At least they work and are somewhat entertaining, unlike this piece of junk.
See you next time!
