Announcer: We have a fantastic new episode for you. It's the Grand
Sicilian Smackdown Part II.
Jeremy: Ladies and gentlemen, you've been here before, and now it's
back. Welcome to 2013, and this time there's a whole new element
in the competition. It's the competitive eating and the reckless
eating challenge. This is Big Mama's and Papa's Pizza.
Well, folks, there it is, the humongous pizza that our
competitors today will be eating. I'm asking the pizza gods now
to put their blessing on this pizza and all of our competitive
eaters today because they have a lot to chow down on.
What are you guys doing to physically and mentally prepare for
this challenge right now?
Eater 1: I've spent my whole life preparing. I'm a pig. I'm always
ready.
Jeremy: The moment of truth has arrived. The time has come, just about,
to start eating and eating and eating till it's all gone.
In two hours we're going to see who gets to the end of the food
first. We're going to start any second now.
Get set, eat!
This is amazing. Look at that. Look how much is gone already,
and it's only benn about half an hour.
There's only about 40 minutes left in this competition. I'll
tell you, the suspense is intense.
Our winning streak has finally ended, and the pizza is our
winner. It's over. They called it. There were 13 minutes left,
but they couldn't go any further.
Jamie: We did come so close.
Naader: Jamie here ate to his limit. I've never seen him like this
actually.
Jeff: It sucks that we didn't make it. I feel like maybe I could do maybe a
piece or more, but, other than that, yeah, there's no way.
Jamie: I probably won't eat much now for the next day or two.
Chris: I think I probably did about 5 to I'd say about 5 or 6 pounds.
Jamie: We didn't have enough guys with capacity. I probably did, I'd
say, at least 15 pounds myself.
