In this tutorial I teach you to make these Christmas ornaments with quilling technique
Material
cardboard of the color you want, colored sheets, optional Craftingeek decorative paper, ruler
pencil and eraser, scissors, 1 push pin, cold silicone and whatever you want to decorate
Take sheet of the color you want, put it horizontally
and make marks every half centimeter on both sides
I'm going to do 7
after that, join each pair of marks with a straight line
and cut them out
Take a strip, look that the pencil mark be infront of you
roll the paper strip around the push pin
press the tip inward several times to make it easier to roll the rest
after a few times doing that, take out the push pin and continue with your fingers
when you reach the end, press and drop to undo a little
this will be the base figure of quilling
You can put glue on the edge to prevent undo
use the figure like this or press the edges to change the final result
If you press both sides you´ll have an ogive
and if you do of one side you´ll have a drop
to vary the size of a figure use smaller strips, I´ll cut 1 into 3
Do the figures you need in other colors and sizes
to make the poinsettia you need 7 red figures and 3 yellow
make the cardboard base of 8 x 10 cm
After cut it, if you want you can round the corners
erase the pencil
you can do the rest of the figure with crepe paper or colored sheets
arrange the figures as you like best
glue with cold silicone
continue decorating with ribbons, beads and other materials
ready, use this technique to make cards, dedications, gifts or to decorate your Christmas tree
we're done
