Hey everybody, it’s Himani! Welcome to Touch-Up Tuesday where I share makeup tips and tutorials
with you, and today I’ve got Spring Makeup trends video for you which will use DIY makeup
and drugstore products! As much as it is fun to incorporate the seasonal makeup trends,
I know it can get quite expensive sometimes. So, I have a lot of DIY and drugstore options
in this video to help you stay on-trend for this Spring! Remember, you are beautiful just
the way you are. It’s just makeup, and we are just having fun with it. For my fellow
Aussies, we are enjoying quite a sunny weather out here. So, it’s for you as well. :) I’m
getting excited even talking about this. Let’s begin!!!
Orange lips are a big trend right now, and if bold orange lips is not your thing, you
can definitely sheer it out. I love this NYX orange lipstick. It looks funny right now
as I did a DIY project with this which I’ll share with you soon! It’s creamy, it’s
pigmented and it’s only $2. I bought it from beautyjoint.com. It suits all the skin
tones, and I love it! I also have been obsessed with Maybelline ColorSensational Lip Gloss
in Shade 40 Captivating Coral. I’m actually wearing it today, but a bit sheered down way.
Clear and fresh looking skin is big right now, and I’ve made this DIY dupe for Eve
Pearl’s salmon concealer and even Bobbi Brown Corrector, and this is the one that
I’ve been using lately. I mixed a little bit of the orange lipstick with my concealer,
and this salmon color cancels out all the darkness underneath the eyes. I can make a
whole video on this for you. Give this video a thumbs up and comment below if you would
like that. I recently got these blue toned eyeliners
from Sigma, one is this light blue called ‘My Cloud’ and the other one sort of dark
teal which is called ‘Indigo Bird’. Blue on the eyes is very in right now, and I love
how buttery soft and pigmented these eyeliners are!
Spring is all about glowing skin! I love wearing lightweight BB and CC creams to let my skin
shine through. I love the garnier bb cream. The packaging varies depending on where you
get it but I am in love with the coverage of this! The next one is Lakme CC cream which
I purchased when I was in India. It was less than $5, but it gives me an awesome coverage!
It’s a must have you live in India, or if you are travelling to India, definitely have
a look. To make your makeup last all day, an unexpected
DIY trick that I have been using is to use aloe vera gel as a face primer. I have an
aloe vera plant at home, but you can use the gel that is available at the supermarket.
It instantly closes the open pores, and my makeup lasts all day really! It saves me a
lot of money, and I get to treat my skin even when I’m wearing makeup!
I’m a blush girl, and I have been loving how affordable and pigmented these Jordana
blushes are. They two colors are coral sandy beach and sunlit bronze. They are perfect
for Spring and they are only $2 each! I’ve been obsessed with this eggplant colored
gel eyeliner from Maybelline Eyestudio range as it is not as harsh as black for the day
time, and it’s reasonably priced. It does’t dry out as quickly as other gel liners, so,
I love that! It looks stunning on brown eyed girls, but it’s perfect for any eye color
latey! For a clean and fresh eye makeup for everyday,
I’ve been using just a very pale and light gold eye shadow all over my eyes. It adds
brightness to the eyes, and yet never look ott like a solid gold eyeshadow or an antique
gold eyeshadow. My pick is this one from Lakme 9 to 5 eye color quartet in Desert Rose. This
eyeshadows are great value for money, and they are super pigmented. Lakme is an Indian
brand, but don’t worry if you don’t live in India. I don’t either. I would pick Maybelline
EyeStudio Eyeshadow palette in ‘Give Me Gold’. I love those colors!
I’ve been using green tea as my makeup setting spray and it’s been working amazing!!! I
usually have green tea every morning, so I take some out and fill my spray bottle with
it. It also is a great toner that closes open pores as well!
Spring is all about clean looking makeup and well-defined eyebrows. I love my essence eyebrow
duo! It’s super inexpensive, and the colors are just perfect Taupey colors that look very
natural. Just on a little side note- Remember to smile
and have fun with makeup. Your smile is your best makeup. No matter what you are going
through, I want you to know that I love you, I care about you, and I am here for you. Together
we have this bond…this community that inspires everyone to be themselves and to be happy.
