That's lame, let's talk about cupcakes or sex , whatever you want
We are really proud to host this 3rd Golden Blog Awards here in Paris, this quickly became a major event and we're really proud of it
And the winner is... Boucherie Ovalie !
The Wifi network works wonders I gotta tell you. Yeah like I'm gonna try it out and leave !
So for the last video I used Nuke, a very powerfull VFX Tool used a lot in Hollywood films.
As you can see, in my case I wanted to remove the tracking markers on the box to add my ZombieTech logo
So here's the original footage, for this tutorial I only removed one marker
As you can see on this image we have 3 tracking markers, and if I move my viewer node to the final effects one of them is gone
I just used the word node ! Nodes is what Nuke is made of instead of layers like in After Effects, they are like a chain of action applied to an image to get the effect we want.
Example : In After Effects to get a green screen effect we would key the green and add the background behind our footage
In Nuke, I would key the green, and apply the background plate to the same image.
Let's take a closer look at my Nuke script here, please ignore these too nodes, they are used for removing the second point, we won't look at them today.
The first node is a read node, a read node is used to read footage or any other media file.
This is a Viewer node, this outputs the results of what we plug it into to my screen.
So if I were to disconnect it to the read node, and connect it to my final effect, we will see the final effect.
The next node is a Tracker node that I used to track the point I want to remove , it's just like After Effects tracker effect.
We then have a roto node, that is following the tracking information and using the near pixels to cover up the point
Our last node in a Write node, it's used to render the final video file.
I hope you understood how I worked, I know this can be quite hard , it took me a couple month to get used to it
Let's summarize : we add our video to a read node, track it with a track node, add a roto node and parent it to the tracking info we also set it to use pixels around it to cover it up
Here's the final result, i'm pretty happy with it. If you want more in-depth tutorials please like and comment this video !
