Hi! This is Diana for expertvillage.com. Today we’re making a floral centerpiece for your
table or your party. I’m going to tell you about the different kinds of greens that we’re
going to be using and some other kinds of greens that you can use also. I have some
ivy, and this is good if you’re making things that are tall or spread out wide. I have some
coin leaf and this is a long lasting one; it has nice almost straight stems but they
have a little bit of curve and a little bit bend to the them. I don’t want anything
that’s exactly straight. I have a little piece of my juniper bush and this is very
full and fluffy, so it’s good for filling in spots. Since this one is long it can also
be used to make a long arrangement. There are other kinds of ferns and greens that you
can use. I picked mine from the backyard. You can get them at the florist, and if you
do pick them out of your backyard, make sure you test them ahead of time so that you know
they’re long lasting.
