I'm going to talk a little bit about how to use coupons to eat out. Now, from my perspective
there's really three different ways to get some savings when you're dining out. The first
one is in those mailers you get in the mail where it's just stuffed full of coupons. I
know it's very tempting to just take that right to the trash can. But if you open it
up you'll find a lot of local restaurants are advertising there and there's really good
deals. Free delivery is a common one, but even $5 off an appetizer, you name it. Ultimately
it's good to just look through those, see if any of your favorites are in there or anyone's
that you maybe want to try.
A second option to save a little bit more when you're dining out is to go to sites like
Restaurants.com. They offer gift cards basically from local restaurants at pretty deep discounts.
So you might be able to get a $25 gift card for $5. When you pair that with a cash back
site, right? So a site that gives you cash back on your purchases at Restaurants.com,
you can almost get those gift cards for free.
The third one is looking at some of the daily deal sites. Right? So Groupon and Living Social,
we're all very familiar with those. The goal here is to ultimately reveal really good savings.
Right? They'll put together an offer and if it's something that you're going to use you
can really quite often save a lot there. Again, these are sites that you can pair with cash
back. So you can go and get your Groupon or your Living Social deal and get cash back
on that purchase to where your purchase ultimately is pretty deeply discounted. So there's just
a few tips on how to save the most when you're trying to dine out.
