In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
This video is about "Our Father" prayer.
I will give you a brief explanation and then will sign in the prayer.
I have been serving the Church for about 5 years.
I'm a subdeacon.
I have been studying Orthodoxy such as words, church fathers, etc.
Saints', Priests' and Bishops' teachings.
All of them are into the correct signs for ASL.
I'm fluent in Armenian Sign Language.
It gives me a version of the right signs for ASL is easier.
Because I use the ArmSL version gives me easy to imagine.
Better not use Protestant and Catholic signs but the Orthodox signs right here in America.
So "Give us this day our daily bread"
This quote which I've been studying carefully.
It can be means have a relationship with God.
Christ is the Bread of life.
He gives us to eat His bread for eternal life.
As for our understanding. this bread "give us this day our daily bread"
It's obviously, It relates to Christ because He is in us as we are in Him.
Next, "lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."
This quote which I've carefully studying in Greek and Armenian, and Armenian Sign Language as well.
As for English, "lead us not into temptation" sounds more like
God controls and gives us to tempt. He doesn't do that.
We are the one who starts to tempt and the Devil invites us to tempt.
God will never give us to tempt nor test us for tempt. Never.
these quotes that I will use the correct signs.
So I'm ready to pray. OK.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom
and the power and the glory forever; amen.
As you see this prayer, that's how the Orthodox view for the correct ASL.

Or contact Greg.

God may be with us always. Amen.
