Earlier I saw the Lego Movie and first of all, I want to say that it was a great film.
I enjoyed it immensely, especially the animation with all the lego sets and I think one of
the best animated sequences was anytime they showed steam or smoke. The way they animated
the steam and smoke with lego blocks was really cool. And all the mini figures was fun to
see. It was fun to see all the sets. I have so many lego sets at my house and so I recognized
a lot of the sets and lego pieces. They even had the lego shark, which I liked and it was
a good message about is there one true way to build? The point of legos is to follow
the instructions and build the models they show you to or go completely crazy and do
whatever you want with the pieces. I say. I think the movie says also, that there is
a happy median to be found. But my biggest question with the lego movie is, I assume
they are going to release sets from the lego movie. The main kid in the movie or the main
point is all about creativity and such, so how can they release lego sets from the movie
with instructions? The whole point is to not follow the instructions and go all crazy even
though there is a happy median, so how are they going to release lego sets from the movie?
I dont know, are they going to have instructions? It will be funny to see the instructions and
also what lego set from the movie can they even release? like the movie sets are so complex
I mean, I would assume the smallest brick count would be at least like 30,000. Imagine
they try to build the president tower. That's a good amount of bricks. So i'll be curious
to see what bricks they use. Also, the best part of the movie is Will Arnett as Batman.
I am a huge aficionado of Will Arnett and his deep gravely voice and him as batman,
he kills it. He should be in every Batman cartoon. So I say, go see the Lego Movie.
It's the best 100 minute commercial you'll ever see. It's one aspect of product placement
I did not mind; I rather enjoyed it. Ill talk more about that in another soundbyte. But
I recommend you see the Lego Movie.
Is it official that they're releasing a legos set based on the movie? So far I see games
and a few toys based on the characters in the movie. Regardless, legos played a huge
role in my childhood and I still have boxes full of pieces back at home in the attic.
The best was to let your imagination run wild and build bases for your characters. Then
have wars and battles and dragon invasions. It's just too bad movie prices are so expensive
in NYC. Im looking forward to seeing it soon though
