I'm Tristan McCauly from Lucky Seven Tattoo and I'm here to show you how to remove a belly
button ring. First and foremost, you want to make sure that your belly button ring is
totally healed before you try to remove it. Removing it ahead of time or before it's totally
healed can lead to problems as far as healing properly, it can take a little bit longer
to heal, it can become irritated, or it could become infected. These are all things that
are painful, just kind of a pain. So you should avoid that at all costs. First thing you want
to do when removing the belly jewelry is unscrew the top bead turning it counter clockwise,
then you want to push from the top grabbing the bottom bead, and it should slide right
out. Depending on what kind of jewelry you have can change how to do it. If you have
a captive bead ring, you can just pop that bead right out and just turn that ring right
out. It's pretty easy to do. And that is how you remove a belly button ring.
