Here I have one of my favorite jackets that needs, as you can see, more development, but
again, that can be up to me later or you to use as a jump-off point. I call it my "Mod
Coat" because it kind of does look a little bit 60'ish, Austin Powers, to me, in my mind.
And again, I'm the designer, so I have a completed vision and I have an almost developed vision
and somebody like you looking at it might think, "Where is she getting the title of
Mod Coat"? But that's what makes this whole thing so amazing, is that I got it because
it came from my brain and I am going to convey it to you where you can understand it, and
in order to do that, I have to draw it. I have to pretend like I cannot speak and I
have to let my hands and the paper and my pen speak for me and I have to make sure that
they say everything that I would want to say if I were talking to you. So, when I develop
it further, it will bring to mind "Mod Coat". Until then it could be a dress, it could be
a jacket, it could be anything. My whole point in it was the center placket, the lines, the
geometry of it, basically, the modernism, lines, lines, center, and then big, big, over-sized
collar. There you go!
