There's all kinds of nice shiny buildings of chrome and glass and stuff like that
But out here's the real deal this is the Chihuahuan desert and it's about as rough as it gets.
This place right here is at least 12,000 years old,
continuously settled and farmed.
There's a lot of history right here.
You know the fact that two countries can be so close,
we can throw a rock and hit the other side but at the same time be so far
it's just fascinating to me.
And A.Kelly lived and he died on this plateau land.
You still feel around he made his mark here,
I think he made his mark everywhere.
There was no coincidence in all you folks
being there the day he died, you know, basically passed a torch.
He didn't have the ability to create an organization and do the things
we're doing, you know, he's an artist
so that's our role.
And I was with him in that bus at 5:15 in the morning
when he died and by noon we buried him out there.
I want to be buried out there when I'm
ready to be buried.
And I realized that
where I'm at
is where I want to be.
