the david fragments you know idea dot com
one of the show a lot of stuff to get to first of all breaking news that it would
be in the u_s_ ambassador to libya jade christopher stevens along with
three and a few staffers
have been killed in an attack on the american conflict in in uh... ***
gosling
this happen when a mob of protesters in gunmen overwhelm the u_s_ consulate set
fire to it
in outrage over a film that ridicules islam's prophet muhammad now libya's new
president already apologized
uh... for the attack today which underlined the lawlessness plaguing the
entire region
with interesting is that the food and pup promotion of this movie that
ridicules prophet muhammad is linked to terry jones remember terry jones
the karana burner who has been interviewed on this program into into
doesn't and i believe it was
and uh... it would stop it but i i think it took up a call from president bold
bomber donald rumsfeld and did not burn the crimes
eventually he said oh you know what i do want the publicity so a year later
hebron the crohn's but by then nobody cared anymore
maybe it was in a four year later he's linked to this
not surprising
i'd emailed the dub world outreach center asking for an interview right
away with the good after i have a number of questions for him
uh... i haven't heard back so far the listener pride and think you will
ambassador chris stevens was fifty two years old he died is he in a group of
embassy employees
went to the consulate to try to evacuate staff is a crowd of hundreds of tak
the consulate yesterday
uh... last night a lot of firing machine guns rocket-propelled grenades so on and
so forth
very very sad story
uh... mit romney right away coming out in criticizing a statement
he credits president of bottle with having made which he claims is
apologizing
for offending moslems of course it was actually turns out mit romney again has
its foot is now a it was a statement released prior to this particular
incident if he actually just look at the time line
mit romney again putting his foot is now trying to politicize this incident and
take any grasping at all straws given the fact that his campaign has been
particularly ridiculed and and absurd since that meticulous republican
national convention mit romney again putting his foot has not been tomorrow
in our world view dennis campbell segment were actually gonna talk uh...
dennis campbell about what is the reaction overseas excuse me
overseas
what mit romney said and to what took place in libya what you think about the
story
so many things
i don't think it's ok too
be afraid
poking fun at her insulting someone's religion
uh...
i mean everyone should have the right to do that this is america right
recommended okay
uh...
and if what you're claiming about
muslims is that there
jobless loyalists murderers
honestly the best thing to do you will probably not be to *** people in
retaliation for making those claims right
um...
so
i mean on both sides here it's it's just complete absurdity it is absolutely and
uh... also
the did there's a lot of layers dissembling and unpacked them tomorrow
so i won't get it will have more details tomorrow as well
the chicago teachers union strike is now entering its third day
under the leadership of the caucus of rank and file as you cater to the chick
other teachers union pushed hard in negotiations with the city
early on the seat that teachers union made the decision to declined an offer
of pay increases combined with layoffs
the city wouldn't agree to the teachers' unions kore demands including expanding
our programs music programs that underfunded schools etcetera
they voted overwhelmingly ninety percent of teachers and ninety-eight percent of
those who cast ballots to authorized the strike
it doesn't look right now looks like the strike is gonna be breaking anytime soon
at least as of us going on here
yeah can you imagine it if we were in school and something like this happens
it or schools
idbi likely the kids must be loaded well three hundred fifty thousand films are
being kept out of school
is a question you know at the time like i can remember
being in high school at the time and and polite i would've loved it to be
completely honest now of course having a completely different understanding of
what this means for the teachers and what it means for education and so many
of the implications that are there
uh... different perspective for sure but i wonder what the kids do you think you
have now there's a lot of uh...
along operatives from people who claim that
that chicago teachers actually are some of the highest paid
uh... in the country which of course is terrible it's terrible for teachers to
be well-paid
but you know they aren't either they're kind of uh... uh...
claiming this is this is a pop receive your something of the sort or chicago
teachers union president karen lewis said uh... yesterday afternoon late
yesterday afternoon
there has not been as much movement as we would hope there's been let's put it
this way centimeters
and we're still cole on matters apart so
will will see what happens president obama has been mostly avoiding weighing
in on this very reason the metric system we are now of course well a part of why
that's cool at that school system must be so uh... so great in the stitches are
making some want to know the logic of the metric system
uh... president obama seems to just kind of the avoiding weighing in on this and
it's understandable because he's going to end up getting between unions
teachers
rahm emmanuel the mayor of uh... of chicago
and voters it's probably the right thing to do politically
does it make any difference whether he weighs a ton of republicans and of
course being critical of president obama for not getting involved but
is this really even an issue that the president needs to be
involved in the nitty-gritty about or not
i would say no and not only because he said
running a campaign right now hai
i think this is something he he can and should avoid but uh...
it would be a very easy way to get the hot water is if he did
the upside seems limited
we now we've heard the president obama doesn't decide what to do based on the
political repercussions but it almost seems like he doesn't even really have
anything that he could add by getting involved
will keep an eye on that as well
california proposition thirty-seven having heard this lewis
california proposition thirty-seven would mandate
labeling of genetically-engineered food now this is fascinating because when we
look at this this is on the ballot for november sixth
if let's look at what it does first list
uh... if it's approved by voters it will number one require labeling on brought
or processed food offered for sale at the food is made from plants or animals
with genetic
material changed and specific ways
it would also prohibit labeling or advertising any of those items as
natural
it would also exempt from this requirement foods that are certified
organic
unintentionally produced with genetically engineered material made
from animals that are injected with genetically engineered material
but not genetically engineered themselves
processed with a containing only small amounts of these ingredients et cetera
so it's it's really
it's important but it also has some reasonable exemptions where it's not
going to be this
uh... uh... you know
this too from from the sky that's going to completely
uh... turn
everything upside down in terms of what's been doing if if even the animals
are fed with some genetically-engineered material seems very reasonable to me
uh... are you
where you for this item for that's now one of the reasons the before there's a
number of different reasons number one
i feel like you should have the right to know as much as possible what's been
your food and right now we live in a time were increasingly
people don't know what's in there for
rude and they don't know that date need to know what's in their food so i think
this is good and i know the argument for many would-be it's not the government's
job to plead babysitter with what people are eating however i think that this is
just the basic level of not a lot of people know about what genetically
modified or engineered means
and it's perfectly reasonable that that foods that are that should have to say
that
right just as we believe you need for transparency in government
you also needed in the shouldn't be greetings of the food you're going to
the store and this is not some u_s_ only over-regulation that over forty
countries around the world already require labels for genetically modified
foods the u_s_ is not leading the pack on over-regulation were actually lagging
behind on this
who was opposing this this is fascinating well of course the
california republican party is opposing this
uh... bunco else is opposing this well
monsanto has put in over four million dollars opposing
pepsico
has put in almost two million dollars to oppose this and i have a long list here
uh... bayer crop side
it's one point six million
dal agra science one point two million
nestle one point two million coca-cola north america one point one million
kamagra
kellogg's general mills
hershey's smokers boatswain's break our guild on monday mars
campbell soup we know those delhi lewis
what her finger
why are they doing this
no surprise
they think it's going to hurt their sales when they have to put on their
food that things have been genetically modified well you know what the argument
that's being made its
hearing it is being made is listen
um...
the company's better
supporting this which
id nature's path
a means
andy's
the organic consumers association
their in the business that is already charging a premium
because
they are uh... labeling their products in this way of saying we are not doing
any of these things are they are again etc et-cetera
and that by forcing companies that
art organic or that are do you using genetic modifications
you're essentially increasing their costs by having them have to
do even more
and therefore
shrinking
that premium that people are paying for the organic foods that it's a marketing
ploy what's your reaction to that minute on what do you think about this
yeah i think uh... this this is just unethical issue-oriented we should never
go by what the even if it were bad for the market for either of the two parties
the one to grow genetically modified food are the ones that don't
this is an ethical issue people people have to be able to find out without
doing a half-hour google search what's in the food that the is just the basic
level of transparency i completely agree with that for me it is not the internet
be relevant
woohoo did theirs as this is the basic that's needed
if it cost you more was and you make a lot of money
the more you make the more products you have to relabel that's because you're
selling a lot of products that's okay with me
yeah it has to be done and i hope this doesn't just staying in california's has
to be done nationwide and a lot of people saying this could lead to that
okay let's look at a couple of the funny things that have been going on of birth
irvine
billed as the biggest birth urbana of the year which was scheduled for later
in september in phoenix arizona has been canceled because there haven't been
adequate ticket sales in other words people ought to go to this nonsense
this was going to be the share of joe event it was gonna include of course a
good friend arizona sheriff joe arpaio iyo
as well as former army lieutenant colonel
colonel terrence lake include if you've forgot who he is
he the guy who refused to go to afghanistan because he said he just
didn't believe president or bomber was legitimately in office therefore
why would he be able to send into afghanistan just doesn't make sense
brain as well as pat boone
what how could such a star-studded event not sell out right away willis who
wouldn't want to hang out with but sheriff joe
and pat boone especially in arizona
if you had exactly
i'm i'm surprised that ticket sales are low
organizers plan to use the event to tell congress to take up till our pilot
year-long investigation
and the president obama's supposedly bake
birth certificate
it's sad that you can even get enough crazy people together to have the
biggest birth the revenge of the year isn't it
the good sign if you could be really it is it's a good sign kazaa if you told me
about this uh...
and didn't tell me there was cancelled it'll take a sales i'll tell you this
weekend with sellout two months ago your surprise it didn't do that you know
also suppress white supremacist groups and a needn't eastern tennessee
have you heard of stormfront louis it's kind of like the face book for white
supremacist right
phone line is a virtual gathering for like-minded people too
uh... white supremacy
the tennessee conference represents a rare offline gathering a lot of these
times these guys don't really want it mostly men
don't want to be seen
anywhere in real life they they prefer to kind of sit behind their computers
because this harrods
your words not mine
vetoed a agenda includes a luncheon and include workshops on immigration
political organizing in communications by some of the
white supremacist movements best-known contemporary leaders you know who's
going to be there
former presidential candidate and white supremacist informer k_k_k_ member david
duke and fascinating he's gonna lead in informal nature walk through the smoky
mountains on day two of the conference sounds nice yeah
former grand wizard of course
uh... a nature walk with david duke sounds really nice maybe show
what kinds of trees were the ones used for lynchings for example i'm sure it's
a very good good retrospective on on uh... a lot of different things i'm sure
we very informative
now people defended the duke
uh... now i guess it's becoming the the ending the symbolism a lot of the
allegations about david duke or not fair
uh... you only have to go to irs website
to see the vial stuff that he's preaching against the jewish people i
went on to his website what did i find i have it in my notes here
uh... i went on that he talks about he has a agreat article called
jewish that's a premises hatred of gentiles
founded in that religion
he has one called u_s_'s i_n_s_ sir promises demand taxpayer cash to prevent
assimilation
and agreat article about how was the normal for jews to spit on christians in
jerusalem
so it's a well-rounded website i would say yeah they are very well thought out
well-rounded yeah
i would be fascinated to get video of that nature walk with david duke
you know what it probably be pretty dull
you things up yeah
if you don't like the fact that the show is only an hour long
you can get the bonus shut the bonus shows produced in hosted by louis mo
tommy producer louis mo comedy today we've got some great stories including
scientists creating memories in brains

course evidence
of a liberal plot to create global warming and then blame it on
conservatives that's the kind of great
cutting-edge reporting
you'll get liberal bias dot com everyday today's new
david patten show member of the day is steven tomkins it's great to have steven
aboard as a david packard show member
he is going a long way to support the show and strong independent media stuff
thanks so much to steven
and all day the package from members who are watching on our youtube
life st louis which now is live monday through friday two p_m_ eastern
eleven a_m_ on the west coast happening right now course
if you're watching the watch him you know you know that
and if you're not been it's not really happening right now right
sheldon adelson is the one of mit romney's biggest funders to the tune of
some say as much as a hundred million dollars
it turns out it's really just an investment per share sheldon adelson to
get a new analysis from uh... uh... new report actually looks at how
mit romney and paul ryan tax policy can benefit sheldon adelson his pretty
incredible
he could save two billion in taxes
president uh... of mit romney becomes a reality
which really makes the hundred million he's throwing in
three small potatoes pretty minimal investment
so how would this happen all the reports as a couple things number one
by cutting top tax rates that would save adelson about one point five million
dollars a year
on his annual compensation as chief executive
of uh... his casino company
healthy safe
maintaining special lower rates on dividends potentially saving adelson
nearly a hundred and twenty million
on a single years worth of dividends
would be more than enough alone to get back his hundred million in donations
maintaining uh... special low rate on capital gains would allow him to make it
back
his political donations in capital gains tax cuts
just by selling a fraction of the stock so so potentially
he waits for the uh... uh... low
capital-gains rates to be extended which they would be by the bronte
and uh... then he sells a little bit of the stock a allen's saves an incredible
amount of money compared to what it would be if if uh... those capital gains
reductions were to expire right
and then it would provide a tax windfall
of about one point two billion to it'll since company las vegas sans corporation
on untaxed profits from it's agent casinos as well as a tax exemption for
uh... for future overseas profits this is incredible and then lastly
it would have potentially eliminate geek estate tax which could provide
close to a nine billion dollar windfall
to adelson zehra so really this is an investment for adelson this is an
investment in his personal financial future
rather than a uh... mean alot but it this way
he's not pumping all the money into romney's campaign in an altruistic
effort to make things better for the poor or middle-class yeah
and if you think
that all of these tax breaks and uh...
and cuts for for this man are going to help our economy
you're completely dilution k
no question about yet
so there is uh... a shell the nails in the best thing a hundred million
to potentially save
billions
with a b
i was sent this video which i know is not a new video president obama so
please don't flood my in box and you to comment saying this is an old video
of a kid asking president obama why do people hate you know
the video is back from two thousand nine
things have
escalated
incredibly exponential wave regard regarding the president obama hate
the accusations embroiled in racism and
uh... so many other things that are going on and i thought it was actually
interesting
in light of what's going on in three years since this video was filmed
listening to president obama explanation now i thought pretty interesting let's
take a listen to it
right
i'm delighted use my special mike
head of the bad guy don't go along with ca mom and that is uh...
hotter than
that's got what do you have to say
people
most
afloat talking about
quake hit
no
households automatic ctr
five thousand significant for the very latest today three years ago heartburn
well first of all
i don't get elected president so
not everybody hates pinata wanted a
well i've got a whole lot of votes
on a mixture of one of them
you know what is true is if you if you're watching tv lately it seems like
everybody's just get met all the time
um... and i it all i think that you've got to take a look great assault some of
it is just what's called politics
where
you know once
uh... one party wins than the other party candidates
feels like it
it needs to
hope you will be there
by foot studied there for a second
that's exactly what is going on to the end degree and what when i talk about
what i'm talking about republicans getting together and very specifically
very carefully
saying we are going to do everything we can just to stick it to obama a little
bit as obama is saying to make it so that regardless of whether jobs are
created it's bad for business is it bad for the people ill ghetto bamaca out of
office so it's really taking a president obama said three years ago
exploding at into what's happening today
bustles into a little bit more this
to keep you on your toes
and so you shouldn't take it to sears
and then sometimes are as i said before people just uh...
they're worried about their own lives
if a lot of people who lose their jobs right now lot of people are losing their
health care or they've lost their homes to foreclosure
and they're feeling frustrated and when you're probably united states
uh... you know
you gotta deal with all of that that's exactly right
okay so that's the last part of what i think that you which is interesting
because
it makes us really think about
frustration
for a personal
financial economic health whatever issues one is having
will influence how people vote
separate
from the broader trends that we're seeing so for example somebody who today
doesn't have a job
may blame over old bomber
and therefore vote for mit romney even though if they really realize why did we
get into this jobs disaster in the first place it's because of the previous guy
whose policies are similar to the guy you're going to vote in because you're
frustrated with the current president islander stand it
but it's sad that the realities of the fact that will get through to a lot of
people in the book based on that yeah
much easier just to channel your frustration uh... infusion
the current administration absolutely so so interesting seeing that from three
years ago cause of the whole areas kid asking the question
uh... really has come so true today this upcoming election
new government documents show that president bush ignored numerous warnings
prior to the nine eleven attack now we all know luis about that infamous august
sixth two thousand one left memo been widened poised to strike
uh... from richard clark we all know about that it's been talked about many
many times it turns out according to the new york times that they were actually a
number of warnings between may and august of two thousand one which the
bush administration ignored on may first two thousand one
the bush white house was told by the c_i_a_ that a group presently in the
u_s_ was planning an attack what do you think about louis
are not surprised
than on june twenty second two thousand one the bush white house was told
al-qaeda attack
could be
however
video conservatives in the pentagon told the bush white house
at the c_i_a_ had been fooled
into but believing bin laden was preparing an attack
too distracting u_s_ from saddam hussein
imagine that funny even internally
this idea
even an attack
would be really just a distraction from saddam hussein and look at what happened
look at how nine eleven was used to go into iraq incredible the attack uh...
is as if the two uh... work
one of the same outfit so that that's there it was existing way before it even
in the attack happened which is very telling is in at the time
yen you know that i know this is kind of some island related but uh... i have a
question for lewis
you know we talk about the idea that you don't vote and the differences between
the parties do you really think this would have happened the same way of al
gore had in president which arguably he should have been because he won the two
thousand election
now we're gonna start getting into uh...
my my theory about what actually happened on nine eleven which i think
uh...
is uh...
we can't really get into that will you know i've been thinking a lot about this
and actually it does this conspiracy theory that bush allowed nine eleven to
happen
i think that needed to buildings
or or whatever it yet
i actually think something which actually recently heard our friend thom
hartman also say which is idon't believed that george w_ bush allowed at
the nine eleven that book place to happen
i believe that and as we're seeing here
george w_ bush thought
that an attack from been logged would be something much smaller it would be
ten people died
thirty people die
and he can use that
to go into iraq so they're isn't this pressing need to do that much to prevent
thirty people dying in a way that might be politically convenient
do i think he knew
what nine eleven was going to be
no i don't think that i don't buy into that conspiracy theory at least i've not
seen evidence that end
i distinguish w but had no huge impaired it
to prevent what he thought was going to be a small attack because it would have
been politically advantageous
that that is is perfectly possible ali ayam mahal bore here i do believe the
bush about the attack to happen
would be
if if
the attack is exactly why
what it seems
do i think al gore would have allowed it to happen
probably not and again i'm not saying
either might have happened anyway i'm using words that may sound like i'm
buying into the bush planned and allowed it to happen as it was built planes
crashing into building i'm not saying that at all what i'm saying is
i believe that bush was getting warnings about them live in the same way he was
getting warnings about many others
none of whom were presumed to be something on the scale of nine eleven it
was presumed to be something small
which might then be leveraged and foreign policy you wanted to use
let's take a break coming up next top election prediction expert allan
lichtman
will tell us who is going to win
the twenty twelve election guy hasnt been long since nineteen eighty four
more safe they can
david madman shelves and david jacqueline dot com
welcome back to the david adventure
allan lichtman is joining me he is distinguished professor of history at
american university
is also the creator of the thirteen keys system for predicting the result of
presidential elections i think a good place to start professors when did you
create this system
and how did you create
well i created a long time ago
back in
nineteen eighty one
when i was nine years old of course
not exact
i would love to tell you know you your audience and i think we would like to
tell students
then i came up with the thirteen keys to the white house by spending years in
musty libraries you know thousands of hours of contemplation
but if i would tell you that to quote
the late richard
x unpack would be wrong
came across the kiddies coldly
by accident
i met
that year in nineteen eighty-one when i was at cal tech is a visiting scholar
and i met a man named alleged kailas block
from moscow
who was a clear air member of both the soviet and u_s_ academy of sciences
and the world's leading expert in earthquake prediction
and i told him i did not come out of court history and he said
let's collaborate
and i said well we're not
are you know i got to go back to washington d_c_ nobody cares about the
earthquakes and he said no no
i want to collaborate and earthquakes
he said ever since i went to the united states in nineteen sixty three
as part of the scientific delegation that negotiated
the nuclear test ban treaty i've been a lot in love with politics
and live in the soviet union
predicting elections forget it
it's a prima leader or off with your edm
ul about american presidential
elections and that's how this
the theory was that basically
you have stability or a people
based up on the street and performance of the party holding the white house
bub big picture of the economy
foreign policy social unrest scandal
the challenging party in the campaign
don't matter
the party
holding the lighthouse loses
more than five keeps loses
six or more keys
six strikes
and
okay delays parishes true false questions
so six falsehoods
and the party in power loses
fewer than six the party in power wins
and we have since use this system
to predict the popular vote dot com to national system
over every american presidential election since nineteen eighty four
that seven
elections in a row
know what the system
has that record other day ends
prediction the big question is
applying your system to the upcoming election that's uh... fifty five or so
days away
well who's going away
truce predicted the outcome of that
two thousand twelve election
in january
of two thousand
when i found that president obama the candidate of the party in holding the
white house and only four
negative
keys
six
to count them out so i predicted
two and a half years ago
that all bar mult was going to be re-elected
and i have stood by that prediction ever since in fact
he's gained one morty
by taking out of some armor bin laden
so we now only has three
negative keys it takes six negative keys
to count him out
okay so my question then becomes
do polls matter do the debates matter do campaigns matter all of the things that
have transpired and what transpired between your initial prediction january
twenty ten
and now can't does ed did not none of that is in the keys directly but does
any of that stuff make a difference
none of that is in the keys directly and none of that really matters
at all as i said
almost all my predictions have been made before the campaigns even began i
predicted
george w_ bush is reelection and eight world
two thousand and three
that said obviously it's not impossible
that things happen
dirt campaign that can matter
it's conceivable a candidate can emerge as
you know ronald reagan or franklin roosevelt during the campaign or
that's never happened
uh... horrific foreign policy disaster critic are economy could go down the
drain but those kinds of things don't happen
everybody talks about you know the ipo ra surprise name me one october surprise
they don't
okay let me ask you about a couple of the specifically so
for example some of the key seem a little bit subjective like for example
uh... affecting major change in national policy right let's talk about that when
it and we'll talk about health care obama care the affordable care act
that's one that you give to obama's obon has that key
but there's been this strong misinformation campaign around obon a
care such that their isn't really overwhelming support nationally for what
it did so
by what standard do we judge whether it is a major achievement in other words is
it based on some kind of public polling analysis is it based on what we pay if
there is such a thing as an objective analysis how do you measure that
well some very good question
and i have been
attacked for
low more than uh... thirty years
for my system
having elements of judgment unit and my answer to that is several fold one
the world
is not objective thickly when you're dealing with human beings
historians have long known there has to be
some degree of jack and i got blasted for decades by the professional
forecasters but about it
eight years ago
he suddenly change in the realized but they're purely
quote-unquote objective mapa combat the medical models didn't work
and all the sudden
my idea of judgmental forecasting became the hottest thing in the forecast it i'd
twice
she noted
the international forecasting some secondly
they look a lot more subjective when you get to see online on a piece of paper
a here's the key
but when you buy my book
the keys to the white house two thousand twelve addition you'll see number one
every key is very carefully defined
and number two and
to these questions thirty eight times before
next answer has to be can sister and the definition clearly
says it's not weather
it is popular we're not popular measured by the polls gospels change
all the time
six months ago it looked like
opa mishap healthcare was much more unpopular that it is today and in fact
that he's using it
in a positive sense all
that keep emacs yours
is have you
in a significant way
change policy
from the previous
it ministration and clearly
healthcare
is not only a change from the previous administration starkly
it's something that presidents have been seeking in failing to do since harry
truman i in the nineteen forties so why all the standards of the keys
and bystanders in previous comparison that was not a difficult call quite

david beckham and she uh... ideally paknet dot this is a really strange
later this program on the learning channel t_l_c_
about uh... it's called mike strange addiction and one came across my desk a
number of people sent it to me
about andrea from uh... marietta georgia
who is addicted to evening but tape like scotch tape cellophane cellophane i
guess is what it is not scotch tape
and she reports that
sheik eats about six thousand
needed that every single month here's a few seconds of this show
uh... but i have a you thoughts about this will take a listen
actually right telling
wasn't being
about four million
mind like she tape
playing it
i mean take classes are not thirteen ok so obviously a bizarre program
i had the comment that about the fact that is a uh... psychiatrist and a
psychotherapist and i was
had a number of questions for him about this and she goes on to say a lot of
different things about how she eats paper i have asked my dad
is this in some kind of diagnosed mental illness
if so what the diagnosis is their treatment for it there's a name for this
generally called
okay now pica is typically more common in kids and it's usually eating
non nutritive stuff so for some kids it's peeling paint off the wall in the
end that
percent kids it's i don't know what else to kids eat
and um... it's not considered psychosis is actually considered a variant of of a
compulsive type of deseo obsessive-compulsive disorder or some
type of composure in other words the eating of this is not a psychotic thing
it's a compulsive saying
and interestingly enough
on the disease spectrum it's often many things that is associated with some with
some kind of apple uptick type of of condition which is which is interesting
as well
yup i i remember
uh... hearing a story about this about a woman who eight the uh...
it inside of questions like ask questions and i material
uh... the foam like material and uh...
jackie can you can really be anything will now you're talking about adult so i
asked my dad what the treatment he says in in children it really just tends to
come and go away on its own or sometimes it transforms itself into something else
like this kind of a more
run-of-the-mill obsessive-compulsive disorder type of thing with a lot of
routines and and uh...
uh... rituals and that everything but the in adult it's actually pretty
difficult to improve upon that if somebody has
something like this
adit adult age it's not the type of thing that an anti-psychotic her ***
s_r_i_ is there any of those types of medications will really help and that
there's not that much that can really be done uh... i guess that the idea would
be
some kind of affected psychotherapy that could rationalize
the person's thinking into no longer needing to do with it so i don't know
my question is at what point is this catch up with you
uh... physically i'd i legit leave i mean aren't you're gonna get silly
stomach cancer intestinal cancers some type of nasty infection i mean yeah i
don't know
you barbecue
properly digest the stuff right is very odd it can't be good for you although
i would be curious see what is the real difference for the body competing tape
taking some highly highly processed foods that are out there
probably not too different cut out about it would bet that it's not that
different they think in time
yen in fact uh... there's uh...
something called she often do you think is a prince the issue which is in there
which uh... obviously if someone does it in the united states it's uh... consider
to be a mental disorder but
you know in the old days in different cultures around the world these to do it
and there are some associated health benefits with the eating dirt assuming
that the dirt isn't laced with like you know biochemical poisons interest on yet
so it is something to think about
yes some people do return not like
a plea for what they are but you know when they're cooking in doing other
things like the dirt is just kinda there and it's just that consumed when the
time you're saying something different than just as you know i'm talking about
like taking the dirt eating it with or without having cooked at first
and another some evidence that it helps you know the bacterium this will help
the like train your immune system what are no they wouldn't wonder but it was
that he was excited i would probably have dinner
was a nice dirty reoccur has probably season
one year after the repeal of don't ask don't tell the first academic study of
the military's open service policy has found what louis
absolutely no negative consequences whatsoever big surprise yeah really
shocker
the study was published monday by the palm center which is a research branch
of the williams institute
they found a number of things including no overall negative impact on military
readiness
no impact on unit cohesion remember when that was the favorite talking point of
the right it will affect unit cohesion no effect
no it no effect on recruitment no effect on retention
nor no effect on morale
but obviously it it corrupts the moral fibre country
the fiber has been corrupted
one soldier told the authors of the study that in the initial period after
the repeal
he kept hearing derogatory anti-gay language of some form in his unit yet
when he confronted them and spoke out about the behavior in terms of
leadership and professionalism their conduct improved incredible
because you no longer have to hide
your sexuality
you can actually call people out for using anti-gay slurs and because they're
like oh wow
this is a person who's serving with me and i respect women i value them
i'm not gonna do that anymore
it seems that
shocker
this is actually improve the situation in the military
you know i don't see i don't see how the opposite could happen obviously it's an
improvement
all right let's get to a couple voicemails and emails the voicemail
number two one nine two david p here's one on organic food
hind very timed it couldn't happen and that let's stop right there just a note
lewis's if it were not it americanizing lewis's name as if it were ellie you
liase come from the spanish origin it's it's hello you i guess just pronounced
luis o
no no need to uh... do the the spanish transition if there's a willis jer there
yahoo com mx eyebrow
then we can study aren't organic on the nutritional value organic very vietnam
again id right and
i think one of the company inc framework alcohol debated kind of adoption the
fact is
nutritional value depends on what endothelial but in that dimitri and the
fact that i can deploy attachment writer so we after the fact we got a lot of
e-mails and voicemails suggesting exactly this which is there was never
any expectation
the the nutritional content before it would be different for share value as
the sheer fact that it's organic
the question really is is it healthier for a number of different reasons
absolute had something to yeah annette now is a healthier but is it better for
the environment
long-term
for sustainability state uh... to have organic products another consideration
right
on the circumcision follow up a lot of messages about this booboo road in saint
louis you were discussing circumcision is disgusting and you're a *** and
a child abuser i hope your *** withers
and your children die
i can't tell if this is really think it really really could go either way i
think it's real
the admin road and and at it was brewing said
at what age should a male child
beat when they can decide for themselves
unfair question because it should be at what size not
age
if ticket is big enough to fight off an adult nurse or dr
then it's a big you know and if you queen unarmed circumcised one it is more
likely to go off by itself okay so the admin weighing in on the issues of the
day including this controversial topic of circumcision and i think also
referencing the uh... the
kid cleaning his gun exactly we had a story after that yesterday about a guy
who uh... cleaned exit shot himself in the *** while cleaning is gone of
course is not a kid and adult right
a lot of gun cleaning accidents gotta keep a gun cleaning yes he did
and on the pizza man picking up
president obama the conservatives love to turn everything political similar to
the dixie chicks condemnation of the business excitedly welcome george bush
it wouldn't crossed my mind to boycott i did a business by the products not
whether they share my political views
regardless of the one thing not to shop in a business because you don't agree
with the shop owner
it's another to lie on line about a place to undermine a shop in ruin their
company i may not go to chick fil a myself
but i'm not going online and lie about the batting rats in the local franchise
interesting this is in reference to
yelp reviews turn incredibly negative because this pizza guy from florida who
picked up president obama you today is a republican but boats for obama and
republicans very angry with them
trying to destroy his uh... reputation on yelp he was deemed uh... treachery
absolutely
