Okay, so the next thing you might want to think about is once you've got that down,
having your hand kind of anchored to the face of the guitar, you know, ball of your hand
anchored to the face of the guitar, and then able to separate the notes in a chord, sort
of arpeggiate them. Now you can think about, well, what else can I do with the right hand?
Okay. So here's an example of playing the same chords with the left hand, but now just
learning how to mix it up with your right hand a little bit. So.
Right, so I'm doing some different things. I mean, I'm not just straight forward doing
the root note, plus the arpeggiation of the other three notes in the chord. I'm actually
kind of making some creative decisions about what notes to play when. And, if you noticed,
if you look at my left hand you might have said, "hey, she's cheating, because she's
doing something with her left hand." And, well, it's not actually cheating, but it's
kind of getting into the next step of fingerpicking, which is learning how to add and remove notes
with your left hand to kind of make it more interesting. Right?
