Hi. Thanks for coming in today. I'm Holly Bowen-Bailey and, um, just want to tell you a couple of things that you can expect when you're here today.
Um, we've been doing a folklore unit in my Advanced English classes and I'm trying some new things including bringing in some storytellers.
And so you happen to be here and are lucky enough to get to interpret for Lise Lunge-Larson.
She's a local folk, uh, kind of storyteller and writer and she specializes in Scandinavian stories. She was born in Norway.
And this is my first time meeting her as well, but I've kind of asked her to come and talk a little bit about, um, types of stories that kids would find in folklore
and then to do some storytelling as well. So, I'm kind of excited. I think the kids are going to be a good audience today.
Our Deaf student is wonderful and I'm sure you'll find him to be a great observer.
Um, I think that's it.
