Hello!
My name is Alexander. My colleague – Andrew.
We will install the fuel level sensor DUT-E within transport monitoring system.
Drain fuel Dry the tank
Ventilate the tank!
Choose a place of DUT-E installation
Geometric center of the tank
Avoid the walls inside the tank
Tilt the drill to remove the cut disk
Clear the area for installation
Installing mounting plate
Align the holes
Cut sensor
Add 2 cm
Clean the cut
Wash away the shavings
Install filter and bottom stop
Electrical connections
Brown wire connected to the "ground"
Orange wire connected to power supply via fuse
White wire connected to the 485A input of the unit
Red wire connected to the 485B input of the unit
Fix the cable with ties
Sealing of electrical connections
Calibration of DUT-E
Set the new length of the DUT-E
Set "Empty"
Immerse DUT-E in fuel
Set "Full"
Set DUT-E into the tank
Calibration of tank
Accurately measure the fuel portion equal 1/10 volume of the tank
Fill the fuel tank till the sensor starts changing signal
Get the value of the signal in mm
Determine the amount of fuel poured by the residue
Poured fuel volume is assigned a value of DUT-E signal in mm
Top up the entire portion of fuel
Insert values in the calibration table
Pour the next portion of fuel
Add new values into the table
The exact quantity of fuel poured into the tank
The values entered in the table
You need to fill the tank as much as possible
The real amount of the tank determined by the residual of fuel
Check the amount of fuel according to the DUT-E
Select the operation mode of the DUT-E
Connecting DUT-E to the unit
Check the amount of fuel in the unit
Testing fuel drain and refill
Drain the exact portion of the fuel not less than 20% of the tank
30.0 liters of fuel was drained using a calibrated container
According to the system drained 29.9 liters
30.0 liters of fuel was refueled using a calibrated container
According to the system refueled 29.9 liters
Accuracy error 0.3%
