DOMINIQUE: This room, to me, is clean, elegant, modern.
Comfortable.
NATHAN: When I'm in my living room, I feel like I'm in a
1930s black and white film.
There's no life anywhere.
DOMINIQUE: I don't necessarily want him to have band posters,
random rock and roll t-shirts thrown
across the living space.
NATHAN: The thing that scares me about living here is the
lack of color, the lack of life.
I need a place that's not so morbid.
DOMINIQUE: We met at a bar.
I went to go check out his band.
I saw him up on stage, rocking out, and so I decided I had to
approach him before the night's end.
NATHAN: I was kind of shocked.
I was like, who is this beautiful woman?
Had to get her number.
And she turned out to be an absolute sweetheart.
Just wonderful.
My style is eclectic.
It's vintage.
It's whatever still has life in it that's beautiful.
Dominique's style is modern, it's black
and white, it's bland.
DOMINIQUE: This room, to me, is put together, simple yet
has a little style, a little flair with my
little zebra prints.
This is fun for me.
NATHAN: I'm a musician, so I need inspiration.
I need color.
I need vibrancy.
DOMINIQUE: If Nathan had a choice, this room would look
like a dorm room of the School of Rock.
NATHAN: Now it's time to do something about this morbid
Elvira kind of design scheme she's got going on.
DOMINIQUE: At least I don't have a laundry bag as my
beanbag chair.
NATHAN: That's what I do.
The thing that scares me most about living here is possibly
not being able to get my style integrated into the place
where I live.
DOMINIQUE: I don't need in my living room a random beanbag
chair of laundry.
Vinyls everywhere.
NATHAN: This room needs some help and some color.
DOMINIQUE: If we don't get help with this room, then
Nathan may have to move out back to his band trailer down
by the river.
VANESSA: My name's Vanessa DeLeon, and
you're watching Spaces.
I give this show a two thumbs up.
