What up youtube. Topaz Yates back with another daily review. This one is to that The Game
Do It To You featuring Trey Songz. And as soon as you see The game featuring Trey Songz,
you already know what it is about. He is making songs towards females. And the thing about
that is it shows off some of the flaws in the Games skills. One of things most rappers
do when making these types of songs is dumb down their lyrics so "women can understand"
when that is all ***, that was something the industry made up and dumb dudes keep doing.
Women love good lyrics just as much as dudes do. But the Game isn't going along those lines,
he does have bits and pieces of punchlines through out. Great lyricists can put together
great punchlines no matter what. When he said he got more hoes than R Kelly and he puts
that on his ***. That made me chuckle a bit. It shows you he was trying to be lyrical but
wasn't all through out. A lot of his attempts at punchlines fell short. Quite honestly I
believe this song is going to work for what it is trying to be. I should have seen this
coming. For this whole project he has been running the same plays as the record labels
from some years ago. We haven't seen them do these in quit some time but this is their
game plan that the game is doing. Years ago everybody's album came out and then a few
months later they decide to throw in a few more tracks and make a deluxe version. That
is exactly what this track is for. Four additional tracks and a combined package of the documentary
2, 2.5. Reselling it to maximize and bleed out the maximum out of it. This annoys me
because you can tell they are just milking it just to get every dime possible. Back in the day when they did this consistently
I wouldn't buy albums until
I knew for sure that there wouldn't be a deluxe. I prefer to buy
the Deluxe off top. Still a track I would say go peep, it has its interesting moments.
