>> RODERICKM: Hi, my name's Rod. Thanks for dropping in on our rehearsal.
I want to tell you, I've been using Etymotic ER-4Ps for the longest...
Really like these in-ear monitors.
But I had the *** tips on them, the ones that came from the factory.
And they had decent isolation, the bass response was never quite
what I expected out of really reference style monitors.
And they made my ears physically sore after a while,
I think it was just pressure on my ear canal.
But my buddy Joe told me about Comply Foam Tips
that are here on these ER-4Ps now.
You roll down the Comply Foam, shove them in your ear,
and wait for them to expand back out to fit your ear perfectly.
It's like a custom injection mold every time you put them in your ear.
They sound great, isolation is off the charts,
bass response is exactly where it should be.
So I told our worship team about them. Guess what they're using now?
Their Shure in-ear monitors have Comply Foam Tips on them, too.
