2009 Swine Flu Pandemic. The Swine flu originally came from a strain of H1N1 in pigs in Mexico.
It traveled from one person to another. It mainly transferred from hog farm workers and
veterinarians. The Swine flu is caused by a virus called H1N1. Symptoms of the Swine
Flu are coughing, body aches, upset stomachs and diarrhea. Some other symptoms are high
fever, sore throat, and fatigue. People at high risk are younger children that are younger
than 5 also pregnant women and people who are 65 years or older at risk. Between 70,700
and 13,930 people died from the Swine Flu. The Swine Flu can be treated by anti-viral
drugs--Tamiflu and Relenza. Lessons we can learn from Swine Flu is to have good hygiene.
Wash your hands frequently and don't be around pigs. Be healthy and get a lot of sleep. The
