Alright, you're looking at the MA790XT-UD4P.
That is a lot of numbers, and this is a very very nice motherboard.
Especially for you AMD Fanboys out there. If you guys want to get something
that supports the Dragon platform, or the Phenom II Tri Cores and Quad Cores
this is the board you're looking for. This is ready.
And as you can see, I think it says it on the box, right there, see it?
Very important, AM3 CPU ready. Up to 140 Watts on this board, which is very nice.
Supports HyperTransport 3.0 so you can do all your Phenom IIs.
Everything on the Dragon platform is going to work, no problem.
And, pretty cool that it actually has DDR3 support up to 1666.
So, if you want to load this puppy up you can do up to 12 GB of memory.
And, that can actually support up to 1600 MHz, which is very very fast.
You don't usually the native support for 1600 MHz memory,
but this board does have it, as well as 1066, 1333,
and of course that very very fast 1666, plus you can go above that
if you want to want to over clock and increase your voltages.
It's not going to be a problem. So that's an availability if you want.
Another thing that's cool about this board is incredible hardware.
If you've heard of Ultra Gerbil 3 it's pretty much everything on here,
as far as hardware is incredible. So the heatsinks.
You have 8 + 2-Phase power for that socket AM3.
So very good power. You have solid State CAPs.
You have lower RDSO and MOSFETS, very very nice.
You have that Ultra Gerbil board, the printed circuit board,
you can't really see it but if you were to go in real close into the board
it has 2 oz of layer for a ground layer and for a power layer,
there's 2 oz, which is double the amount that you will normally find
inside of a motherboard. Good job focusing there Alfred.
That's actually going to increase your over clocking capabilities,
it's going to make the board run cooler, that copper that's inside the board
that actually spread and disperse the heat as well as give you better power,
better more stable power throughout your motherboard.
So very very cool printed HyperTransport 3.0, 16GB of DDR3,
10 SATA Ports, you've got six, two, four, six, here.
Then you've got seven and eight right here.
And then the rest are ETHATA boards, uh, ETHATA Ports,
so you've got a ton of SATA. You can do a RAID 0, 1, 10, and 5.
You've got 7.1 Channel HD Audio, check this out.
This is using the ALC889A contoler,
which is actually an incredible controller for a motherboard.
106 dBA ratio, it's really good.
I'll show you what else is on the back of the board while we're here.
You've got Gigabit Ethernet right here, along with two USB 2.0 Ports,
you've got your Firewire and two more USB 2.0 Ports.
You've got an additional two USB 2.0 Ports,
as well as an iLink Firewire, then your last two USB 2.0 Ports,
bringing your total on the back to eight.
S/PDIF in both Coaxial and Optical. And, then finally you've got PS2's right there.
Now, the only thing I am sure you guys are very curious about is graphic card slots,
so lets take a look and see what you've got in far as Expansion Ports go.
You are going to see two PC! Express x16 2.0 Slots, here and here.
You've got three PCI x1 Slots for your peripherals and your sound cards.
And then down here your standard PCI graphics, or PCI standard slots,
you have two of those as well, which comes out to be a lot.
Also, I'll kind of point you over here if you can see that,
Those are your Duel BIOS Chips, right here,
You actually have two BIOS', so if one fries you have your main
and you have your backup, so that's really nice to have
just in case you over clock just a little bit too far,
that's going to bring you right back. Very cool feature to have on a motherboad,
especially for over clockers and enthusiasts.
The board also supports CrossFire X,
so if you want to run a couple 4870's a couple 4870X2's
you can do that, they will run X16 X16 if you populate both Slots,
which is really good. You'll also notice that you have a ton of Headers down here.
You've got USB Headers over here, so that's an additional four USB 2.0 Ports.
You've got a Firewire Header. You've got a CON Port Floppy.
And then of you come all the way up over here you do have an IDE as well,
24-pin motherboard connector, and keep in mind,
you do have an 8-pin plus 12 volt DATS connector right there.
That is an 8-pin, sorry, not you can see it,
and that's pretty much everything on the board.
Now I will show you guys what you get in the box.
I love Gigabyte because they give you some pretty cool stuff in the box,
and one of my favorites is this,
they give you an eSATA cable in the box, which is really convenient.
They give you this, which is even cooler.
This is for their little back-plate that they give you.
I'll show it to you right now, it's this thing.
So check this out.
This is sort of like and external hard drive docking station/
not an enclosure but enclosure capabilities.
Pretty much you plug in this Molex connector, right here,
and then coming out the other end you've got two SATA plugs,
so you can power up two SATA hard drives outside of your case
and then plug them in with the eSATA cable they provide
and that way you can have one of those docking stations for hard drives
except you don't actually have a docking station.
It just does it all hanging off the back, which is really cool.
Especially when you have old hard drives and you want to transfer some stuff
you don't have to put it in the case.
You also get their very cool signature orange SATA cables,
there are four of these. Two of these are 90 degree, the rest are normal.
You get an Input/Output shield, that is very nice, painted.
No shield on the back, no padding, but it is painted and labeled nicely,
which is very cool. And of course, drives, manuals, all that good stuff.
Your literature, your warentees, etc.
So, awesome board if you're AMD Fanboy it's going to be right up your ally.
It's the MA790XT-UD4P.
It's a bunch of letters, but in the end AM3 support,
DDR3 memory, it's got a lot of over clocking features,
solid hardware, lots of peripherals and cool stuff in the box
so awesome board. If you have any questions email me.
I'll see you guys next time.
