Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. I'm a clothing designer and sewing instructor
based in Los Angeles. I absolutely adore sewing I've been sewing since I was 14 and I studied
custom and design. I've just been sewing ever since I absolute love it another thing I love
to do is have picnics. In LA I'm lucky enough to live near Griffith Park which is a gorgeous
huge park in the center of this urban environment. I love to do picnic so I thought why not create
a really fun picnic bag that I can use on my picnics but then I can also use it when
I go to the grocery store. Instead of getting those paper bags I can just have a really
fun cute stylish one that I can use over and over again. So that is what I'm going to show
you how to do it today, how to make a really fabulous reusable grocery or picnic bag. So
we're going to start with a vinyl fabric for the main bag and we're also going to line
it so it's extra durable and extra secure. I'm going to show you a really fun zipper
technique that I just learned that is going to make a really interesting front pocket.
We're also going to have another little pocket on the inside so if you are going to be out
and in about for a while you can put a little cold pack in it. Then we're going to finish
it off with a surprise that's going to make it so easy for you to carry wine on your picnic
or on your grocery trip.
