Hi everyone, this is River
I had 2 requests which I am really happy to answer.
One person wanted to know if, when at Albuquerque and Sedona,
If I bought any Native American jewelry.
I did. Costume jewelry, I mean, I have don't have the budget... spend it all on diesel fuel.
Here is a bracelet, with bear claws/paws, traditional.
Very beautiful, I wear it like this.
This is a ring that is supposed to be a Spirit Bear.
the protector of travellers.
I wear it like this.
This is a very traditional Native American ring with feathers, coral, and turquoise.
And I wear it like this.
These are just earrings, nothing special.
The second question is when you go into an RV park, what happens?
When you sign up, this is what I got here.
When you sign up, they draw you a little map
They show you the restrooms, showers, etc,
Then they take you over to your site in a little golf cart, to show you where to park.
It's really neat, you need this map to get in and out.
At least I do, I get lost in here!
This particular place has the coolest options.
You can order.... this.
from the office, they'll cook it and bring it to your trailer.
I'm gonna do that!
And then sometimes little events.
This morning they had a pancake breakfast and tonight a milkshake social.
It's fun to go and do things like that and meet the people who are camped here.
And just talk. I had mentioned online that I was very, very lonely.
I felt lonely for the first time traveling solo on this entire trip.
I just felt so lonely.
And this is the kind of thing that's going to cheer me up.
I get to go and talk to actual people.
I love ya'll.
Ya'll are absolutely fantastic.
But I want to talk to someone in person.
You know that feeling, you just really want to connect to somebody
You want to sit across the table and talk to somebody in person.
That's the kind of thing that I'm missing.
Ok I'll update ya'll later!
Love ya!
Where's the stop button, I should know this......
