Another type of opening that you can use is a shawl opening with an inset. What that means
is that this part that I have in purple here, the inset, is actually attached. The collar
part is kind of like a faux collar, it really doesn't, it really wouldn't open here per
se. You would put this on kind of like a cheesy rendition of a jacket is what I see. It's
faking an opening. This part right here, the inset would be attached along here and it
wouldn't be an actual shirt. If it is an inset it's just a piece of fabric that shows and
pretends to be another shirt underneath. It's the all in one look which don't ever think
I advocate that, because I don't. That's not, that's not part of fashion design as far as
I'm concerned, that's part of manufacturing a garment cheaply. And this part would also,
obviously if this is sewn in, this is going to be sewn together, you're just going to
have it look like it's not.
