Welcome to Penn Foster tv. Today I am going to give you a quick tip to help you find keywords
for your resume.
So a couple blogs ago I told you about www.rezscore.com. It’s a free site that gives you feedback
on your resume, but the cool part is that it shows you which keywords rank highly in
your resume. It gave me an idea! “How could I use this for a job opening?” And what
I did was I went to careerbuilder.com (you could go to monster or indeed it really doesn’t
matter) , but find a job that you want to apply for, copy and paste all of the text
from the job opening into a word document, save it, and then upload that to rezscore.com.
See Rezscore doesn’t know if its your resume or if its something completely different,
so the tool still works fine. The cool part is it will show you which keywords rank high
in that job description. So now, knowing which keywords rank high, you could gear your resume
exactly to that job. It’s a pretty cool tip. If you could, just click subscribe to
subscribe to our youtube channel. We do these blogs every week, and I look forward to seeing
you again next week! Bye.
