Melting tights.
Hi everyone!
Today i will show you how i made
the melting tights.
I found this photo on the Internet.
Such tights creates a German company - URB.
When i saw it, i just couldn't help to try to make them
myself at home.
Stay with me and i will show you the entire process step by step.
So, you will need acrylic paint for cloth,
sponge, maybe brushes
and sequins.
It's better to cover your workplace with polyethylene.
Because acrylic paint is difficult to erase from the surface.
I take black nylon tights and sketch them on the hanger
You will see later why i doing so.
I take the paint and start to pour it on tights in small portions,
as if drawing a horizontal line.
Now paint is just freely spreads on the surface.
For those black tights I chose a paint that glows under neon lights.
If you drop a little more paint than needed,
do not wipe it, let this be your artistic touch.
The upper part of tights is likely to be hidden under shorts or a skirt, so
do not rush to spend the paint, just smudge excess amount with the sponge.
I placed a ball inside to prevent the painted parts from contact with each other during drying.
It will be hard to wash your hands from paint, so
be smarter than I, and wear the rubber gloves during painting.
I sketch the second tights on the rack the same way
and leave the hook open, so i can hang the tights to dry.
These tights i will make for daytime.
They will not glow in the dark, but i will use a lot more colors on them.
And i start with purple.
This color is called Metallic, it has a pearl shade
and I have decided to strengthen it with sequins.
I just pours out the sequins on the fresh paint.
The next is yellow. I pour directly on top of the previous layer.
Do not spread the paint with brush or hands.
Let it spread naturally and the result wont disappoint you.
We need to wait at least 4-5 hours until the paint dries.
And after that we can paint another side.
And finally we can evaluate the result.
Thanks for watching!
