Hi I'm Chris Hildebrand of Hildebrand Law. I am an Arizona family law lawyer. I have
been practicing family law and paternity law in the state of Arizona for 20 years. I want
to talk to you today about ' How you can voluntarily establish paternity of a child?' You can sign
a voluntarily acknowledgement of paternity in Arizona. It has to be signed by both parents
and it either has be notarized or witnessed by a third party. It must contain a social
security number of both parents. You then file that voluntary acknowledgment of paternity
with the clerk of the superior court and the county in which you reside or where the child
resides. The clerk of the court will then issue an order of establishing paternity and
then you have established paternity voluntarily at that point. If you have any other questions
regarding how to voluntarily establish paternity or regarding child custody issues. Please
feel free to email me at chris@hildebrandlaw.com and I hope this information was helpful to
you.
