When I go to a mechanic and hear them talk about, “This piece is broken, that piece
is broken.” I don’t understand what they are talking about. So the same thing happens
with patients. When they come to the doctor’s office — and especially if they’re seeing
a specialist — they’re hearing about these terms like angioplasty and catheterizations
and total knee replacements with titanium and all these other things that they don’t
relate to — they’ve never experienced before. So with my knowledge with having thousands
of patients go through these processes, I can help them understand what’s going to
happen to them, what to expect, and how it’s going to make their lives better.
